you can also get two more starter after you beat the game,i don't remember if its after you beat the delta episode or not but i think it is.once u beat the delta episode,go back home and walk to the area where the prof. was in trouble at the begining of the game,he will then again be in trouble, go choose a starter pokemon again (these starter pokemon are from a diffrent region though,so yah) then save hime and he will let u keep it.fly away and come back later.go back in your house then come out and go back to the same spot,he will be in trouble once more,go and choose another starter pokemon (these starter will be from the unava region) and save him,he will let u keep that starter you chose again, and BAM! you have you two new starter from diffrent regions
That perish song was a nice strategy but really mega metagross is still beatable even tho it is OP. In my case, i remembered bulking up my level 50s Milotic early in the battle just to toughen up her defense with Coil as it increases Att, Def, and Acc, so when his mega gross showed up, it barely did any damage on my coiled up Milotic bcs all of it's moves are not effective on water type. So yeah, i took it down with 3 hydro pumps.
There are a ton of Sidequests you can do after the Delta Episode. The first I would recommend doing is Sea Mauville. If you find a Scanner there, take it to Captain Stern, and he will exchange it with a bell of sorts. Take that back to Sea Mauville to find an old friend waiting there.
This was crazy, awesome job Rodri. I was going to go with the Perish Song with my Altaria but instead tried my luck with my lvl. 66 Swampert and defeated him in three moves, awesome to beat the Champion with a starter!
Tip: After you get a Deyoxus And rayquaza, Go to nameless cavern with Sceptile In max happiness and than catch Mesprit, azelf, and Uxie. every 12 hours i think will spawn make sure to catch em becuz u cant catch palkia/dialga if you dont have those 3. If you want my friend code for dialga, and those others like lugia than just ask.
hey rodri sorry, if i gave you this advice, this could have helped you in the elite four. this is about ultimate moves. go to the city in which you got your bike. mauville city. when you reach there, go visit the shops on the outside ring. this is where you will learn frenzy plant and nature pledge. both are very strong moves for grass types.
When I played Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald, my starter Pokémon was Mudkip. Me having no strategical ideology at the time, I only used Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert for ALL of my battles. The only thing I did different was teach it Ice Beam. Therefore, my attacks for Swampert we're Take Down, Muddy Water, Ice Beam, & Earthquake. When I finally got to fight Steven, it was by far one of the easiest battles I've ever done. The only person I ever struggled fighting was Phoebe. I used Ice Beam on Skarmory, Aggron, Cradily, & Armaldo. Muddy Water on Claydol, & Earthquake on Metagross.
Lol!! i thought i was alone. I did exactly the same thing as you except my first pokemon game is diamond. I just blast through everything with my torterra,i even killed all the legendary because me being a kid at the time,was oblivious with the term legendary pokemon. Heck i chased mesprit all around the map just to kill it when finally encounter it. It takes about 10 trials with the four league mainly because 0 PP halfway. But one day when i found elixir, i enter hall of fame with lv 72 toterra ,16 pichu,32 quagsire,23 skorupi , and other useless pokemon.
Yep, I think the only time I had to use other Pokemon was when I was fighting the 8th Gym leader in the Hoenn region. With some some type of bug Pokemon that was maybe level 5, I poisoned the leader's Miltok & ended up winning when it died of the poison with my last Pokemon: Maril. It went from I think level 16 to level 31 & evolved into Azumarill.
Finally now the the championship is won the Delta quest can now begin...simple word to describe it "exhausting" like everything has to be done and u have to go everywhere collecting mega stones and battling upto a final encounter with the Legendary Dragon Rayquaza
Rodri, just want to say something about the battle with Steven. Against Armaldo, you could've used Tiber to destroy it, since it's bug/rock with weakness against water. Against Cradily, you could've used Gallade to kill it, since it's rock/grass, and has weakness against fighting.
+TJman 461 i also had nothing to go against metagross, but i had a BANNETTE and it literally destroyed the metagross with shadowball, and it was not in its mega form, yeah so for all of you saying bannettes suck, you are so very wrong.

he also said a fighting type move would be effective against metagross(steel/psychic). and said steven had no pokemon with 4x weakness(aggron Steel/Rock 4x weak to Ground and Fighting).
If you go to Mossdeep City go into Steven's house with a letter and a Pokeball inside it take the Pokeball but if you want to know what's inside it read the letter.
You will get a mega stone for camprupt from a team magma grunt after you beat the delta episode.just go to the house on the battle resort where a couple.a girl magma grunt and a boy water grunt (just forgot theyre name).they will be wanting to run away becuase they don't want to be seperated as a couple because theyre on diffrent teams.another member from each team will walk in and give a big speach about how things are diffrent and they can be with each other if they want.the couples will get very happy.walk out and do some stuff tehn come back to the same house later and they will give you a sharpedo and camrupt.you get a camprupt mega evolution stone right when your arive at the battle resort.maxie will be on the docks when you arrive in the fairy and he will just give it to u

I got so lucky during the Stephen battle because he pulled out his Mega Metagross and then I pulled out my nine tails I went for an overheat and I laid it across it and it was a 1 hit KO
I would say trade Kirlia when you get Latios/Latias and get crobat,manetric and sharpedo The team I used for when going through the Pokemon league was Blaziken,Metagross,Crobat,Latios,Sharpedo, and manetric it was a breeze :P

You should've brought primal groudon 'cause he can destroy metagross 'cause groudon is the beast so yep it's already too late you can't go back you should've brought him in the first place & that thing could deal with anything if you primal evolve it then boom you be unstoppable just like me purplerodri.

Eruption is always contingent on how high the user's HP is, like Water Spout. Since Iroh's HP was kind of low, that explains why Eruption did nothing.
