Fry up those phone lines! I recommend being polite when we call despite our outrage, but we need to send a respectful yet firm message to our public servants that we will *not* stand for such cruelty, ever.
I've been calling..and trying to get a statement from Sen Roy Blunt in Missouri also since this is where Im from. So far nothing yet. My heart breaks to see those round up videos and slaughterhouses. 💔🐎🏇 Put more videos out there to be seen. Until recently I didn't know that this was going on.
it just makes me Sick that the horses are suffering from this "presidential Budget Change" and from those Horrible and Heartless Monsters who even supported this Disgusting thing to do to our wild horses. we are the Guardian Angels and we MUST Protect these wonderful animals. Ginger I am moving to Nevada this year and we have bought 160 acres if I can help in any way to help the horses either in your state or mine let me know because I will stand up for the wild horses an I will have the land an building's to help them so get back with me as soon you can an let me know what I can do to help!!!!!
This proposal is a disgrace and is based on selfishness and greed, not objective factual appraisal of the situation. Why doesn't this article even mention the great discrepancy between livestock numbers and consumption of resources and impact on the ecosystem on the public lands? The latter truly dwarfs that of the small and underpopulated wild horses and wild burros. It's high time people learn how to share the land and freedom. In so doing they would be doing both the Western ecosystem (for these equids restore balance to a too heavily ruminant-dominated land) and themselves a great favor by coming clean. Please contact your Congressmen and women to stop this. The horses and burros should be restored to the many millions of acres where they have been zeroed out but nonetheless have legal right. I to agree with her I put the presidents number in my phone and I'm going to call every day until he puts a stop to it we should all call and bug him until he stops letting people kill wild horses. What did the wild horses do to him right. I love horses and I do not want them to die expecially wild horses they are free and they should stay free. Please call and bug the president if we all call we might get him to save the wild horses.
The only thing that is shown is that one sentence of the budget that states "The budget reflects a $10.0 million program reduction to the Wild Horse and Burro Management program." First, as we all know, only in Washington D.C. is reducing the amount of growth of any budget program considered a budget cut, so that is the first thing I suspect because you have not shown us anything else but the one sentence. Meaning it would not be a real cut, but a cut to the growth of the program, which I would find reasonable considering the amount of debt we continue to accumulate. Secondly, you added some accusations, but didn't also show any of the wording within the budget for what you claim and lastly you jump right to extreme speculation - again without offering any proof where there have been any policy changes for what you speculate.
