Continental shelf is beyond historical claims. It is older than pre history.
Sirs, I did read the story about Sabah, which was leased to the British private company lumber concessioner based then in Hongkong, according to the written book by the former senator Salonga. The study of senator Salonga was varied and wide of Sabah, so to be part belonging of the Sultan of Sulu. Please look at that book written by former Senator Salonga. Might be the book is his residence. Now, the first one to be blamed for is the greed of the British lumber concessioner and the greed of Malaysia leaders that agreed to make Sabah part of their federation system Malaysia government. This case of Sabah could had been resolved during the reign of the queen of England, Margaret, when former president Diosdado Macapagal would want take back Sabah in 1960's, but someone powerful interceded to stop it. Now, until this day Sabah is waiting to be solved and to freed from its bondage of the foreign hands. I think we do the strong stand to claim Sabah back to its original owner, the Republic of the Philippines.
Maybe you should interview those directly involve in the Sabah arbitration, coz Batongbacal explanation is confusing, maybe he’s not that privy with the case. Instead he’s giving the impression he doesnt want PH to get Sabah back, when Sultan of Sulu has already expressed they are part of Philippine Republic, the govt should support them coz there are million stateless Filipinos in Sabah. I also think Malaysia is pro-China, so they are silent in West PH Sea, and they already joined BRICS an Anti-Western org.
Lutasin na rin sa arbitration ang territorial issue ng Sabah. Payag naman siguro ang Malaysia at Philippines na isumiti na iyan sa UN Arbitration court at tanggapin ang final na desisyon .
Malaysia knew they will lose the Arbitration, hence why they refuse to participate in the Arbitration.
