They're 19 years apart; and why is that gross? Between consenting adults in love, age is just a number. It's even got a name - May/December romance. Numerous classic love stories have been between a young woman and a much older man. Just off the top of my head - Jane Eyre, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma. Those aren't gross, why is this? Also, Tonks and Lupin are another May/December romance (which are classified by an 11+ year age difference). They are 13 years apart, is that gross?

Lily has visited Severus to thank him for protecting Harry and tells him his debt is settled and he needs to find someone to live and to be loved. Anyway, they begin a relationship and when school starts back, they get married at Hogwarts and Hermione teaches potions. They have 4 children, 2 boys 2 girls, and have a long and happy life. Also, they get a new big manor, since professor Snape has never spent hardly any of the money he'sade in 17 years
