Nord VPN definitely doesn't work with Netflix nor Amazon Prime here in Thai. Keep it real please bud. These VPN companies are notorious ad-scammers that infest UA-cam with lies.

Fascinating! Surprised you didn't eat any bugs! That was my second challenge when I hit Thailand. First durian, then bugs, both on camera!
I would avoid street food sushi. I remember eating sushi downstairs at Maya Mall at one of the stalls (10 baht a piece)...the minute they opened so I knew it was fresh. Sushi can go bad in a nanosecond.
And don't worry about gaining any weight, mate. Everything but the sushi rice was solid low or zero carb, even the sad squirming shrimp!!
To my surprise, Udon had amazing food and so many places and different kind of markets to eat. Udon is simply great, almost no tourist and a very chill vibe. I love it!!
Absolutely smashed it mate!
Pleasant surprise to see you in Udon Thani. We stay in Udon Thani, I do stop at Sean’s kebab stall probably to often 🤦🏻♂️😂
Mr Doyle great video very very clear picture i wonder if it's filmed in 4K
What a beautiful looking market. Not a big fan of seafood, so I don't think I'd like it looking back at me either. 😄🤪 Thanks for putting your tastebuds on the line for us 🤗
It was my pleasure (kinda) 🤣🎃🤣
Paddy, you sure make me miss my old stumping ground 😞 Wish I was back there. My favorite shopping mall in Udon Thani
It looks really great to have a chance to enjoy delicious foods at cheap price. I enjoyed the content of this video a lot.😀👍👍
Hey Paddy, great video! I agree it is a nice night market in Udon. I might be afraid to try the live prawns fearing tummy upset. :)
Nice market find. I put it on my list for Jan. 16,000 steps!!
I've stayed in Udon for three summers. It's an easy, easy place to stay. Loads of apartments for very little money quite near UD town. SP House (just the other side of the Po Sri road) is quite attractive, but renthub shows hundreds of options. And the great thing about Udon is the big parks - Nong Bua right next to UD Town, Nong Sim just a little bit further away, and the huge Nong Prajak just a little bit further away. I think it's for folk with families, or something else to fill the time. I found time weighed heavily on my hands!
Hi sir, I love your content ,, what I love more about your videos is the editing and different angle camera view… so I am wondering do I have to take special courses to make videos like yours ? .. thanks 🙏
Hi, I txt you but seems your offline
The food looks so good, I want to move to Udon , lot of action in the market look a lot like fun , thank you for sharing
My hometown lot of foreigners, friday and Saturday night at walking street is da bestttt
Koh Chang has some amazing doners down in lonely beach.. not sure if they’re there anymore..
การเดินทาง มุมมอง วิดิโอทำออกมาสวย ดูแล้วสนุกไปด้วยเลย ติดตามครับ
"One of them just jumped up & looked at me", I honestly laughed out loud!! Thats hysterical. I'll be there early next year, I wont be trying those.
Great video we found food for 0,75 dollar :) so nice
Watching this video, I got hungry. So I was craving something strange. My other half came home from a day at where she runs a Thai kitchen here in Toronto Canada. For the first time I had "stinky beans" (hard to ship to Canada) mixed with hot cooked ground meat. I actually liked it. As for live jumping shrimps that you sampled ... I will need a few more shots of tequila to go there. Nice episode. dcb
Haha I don't blame you
15:33 was your best moment ever! Love what you do! Thank you for being real & honest. My trip to Thailand recently was well supported & loved by info I gleamed from you. Cheers Mate!
Welcome to my hometown, hope you enjoy there ☺️
@12:54 it's not pepper man! it's roasted ground rice. the spicy will be the dry chilli
I didn't see anything you ate that were extreme. Still enjoy your video
Okay, today was a cheat day on the diet as far as I'm concerned.. 16000 steps in a day is great, but I hope you are remembing to calorie count your daily meals, no more sunset beers, and 12 hour interment fasting for next 2 months, and you'll reach your goal that you mentioned!
Fantastic as usual. Do you list the video equipment you use anywhere?
I’ll remember to stay away from the white creamy sauce that resembles Mayo when I’m in Thailand.
When we gonna ride together!? I love eating weird food.
Looks a quality night market...might pay a visit next time we travel to Khon Kaen. Not sure about the uncooked prawns and the squid eggs, but saying that it is probably still better than the 'ka pow noo' I ate a few years back 😉🤢👍
Paddy,
My friend has a restaurant in Udon Thani. All you can eat seafood. Would be great for a visit. Also if your heading to Vientiane there is an Aussie guy living there that does a lot of travelling with his Lao wife Neenee. You may want to catch up and ask him some questions..his channel is ..now in Lao..
@Wesley Young..I subscribe to his channel. I have families on mom side that have never been to UD town and they live in Phen. They always go to the nearest local markets and have never been into town. Next year, we're taking them into town. What's your friend restaurant name in Udon Thani? If we're in the area, we're going to check his restaurant out
Hey Kelly,
I will try sending you a picture of it when I get home.
It hasn't been open long but they have a big family and all are restaurant owners...
@@kellyrios8179 trying to work out how to send you a pic.
Il work out later..

She said it is called the Gold Meat Shop but I'm not sure if it translates properly.
I had to watch again as I joined a little late. Word takeaway of the day “SUBSTANTIAL”. 😂😂😂
Happy Halloween... from Canada...BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
If you want to eat authentic local Thai food, you should have a guide to suggest what you eat. It should be mixed with any sauce to make it delicious. If you eat without sauce It's not the real flavor, because each local food, even I'm Thai, but I live in the central region, still not familiar
Your a brave man eating that stuff hope you’re not sick after it 😅😂
2 years 10 months 1 day I retire(who's counting) and I'm gonna move there and hold the camera for ya... great Halloween video🤮😅🤣😂
Its not «aroy» in Isaan, its «sep» and «sep ili»…😊
Oh my lord just no on the jumping shrimp pmsl !!!! I did a screaming prawn dish in Vietnam and was scarred for life when they threw the live prawns into the pan did not enjoy eating those tortured things lol
ayyyyoooo!
you ve shaking hand today
absolute lightweight
Wait, what? Dog and cats aren’t food? Teasing
Why do you shovel food into your mouth?
Apart from that, your channel is quite enjoyable.
Hey Paddy. Me and my girlfriend arrive in Bangkok Jan 01 for 4 weeks,,,can we hook up and take you out for lunch
Live shrimps ! Errrrr, nope. No. Noooooooooo. No thanks. As for "Dancing Shrimps", well, what can you say ? Sounds much better than "Trying to flee before being eaten alive Shrimp" I suppose. Anyway, I'm with you there. I'd stick to the kebab too. Great video all the same.
👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗✌✌✌
Very scary Paddy, you are braver than me mate! Eating some of that scary stuff! I am curious how Shawn works at the night market. I have seen bar owners arrested for serving drinks in their own bars even with a work permit. Very enjoyable Halloween video.
I love Udon Thani and UD Town. But I might just be a little biased because my husband is from there 😊We walk over to that night market every time we're in Udon Thani. My husband tries to get me to eat the live shrimp every time we pass by that stand but I still wont do it 😆 If you walk a little farther over by the train station there's the older night market. More food and shopping can be found there as well. My favorite is the bug guy. He has the best fried crickets and the fried fish skin is pretty good too. I'm so glad to see you went back to Udon since your last visit in Isan wasn't the best experience for you. I truly love the people and the spicy food of the Isan region. There are so many hidden gems in that area that are worth the time to explore it more thoroughly. Happy and safe travels to you Paddy
"One of them just jumped up and looked at me." 🤣🤣🤣
That's because you ate his cousin. 🤣
Haha oh my 😭
Incredible! Love this video. Always glad to see something new from you!
OMG..The Dancing Squid…that scene had me in stitches “one of them jumped up and looked at me” 😂 You are a superstar 😅
Thanks for taking us to the night market in Udon Thani. Some of the stuff I won’t try like the Dancing Shrimp or the raw shrimps with chilly sauce. I like the grill squid though sometimes it’s hard to chew for me. Sean’s kebab looks really good.
Happy Halloween, Paddy! I really enjoyed this episode. This night market looks amazing! All looked amazing except for the live shrimp. That looked scary! How about drink options there? Some of that stuff would go great with a cold Chang or Singha.
An excellent video Paddy. I love street markets like this, but you are braver than me, Halloween or not. I prefer my meat/fish cooked! In my wife's hometown (Kaiping in Guangdong, China) there is an excellent Street market called Bùxíngjiē (walking street). It is about a mile long and is full of stalls selling clothes, phone accessories, trainers and, of course, street food. Your video brings back good memories.
You’re such a trooper Paddy! My husband and I will be heading to Udon Thani this February & will definitely be checking this place out! Thanks for sharing this video and Happy Halloween 👻 🎃💀🙀🎉
Excellent video Paddy👍 continu comme ça c est super bon la cuisine thaïlandais 😋😋
Aaww, halloween and no doubt you make a fun adventure of your food experiences, and it makes me smiling ! shrimps dancing in the stomach is realy very scarry Lol ! but must be best for a survival training ! Ty Paddy, was funny to watch you 😍stay safe ! 🙏🎃
It's first time l saw your video. I felling like that and happy. Welcome to Udonthani. 😊😁
Great sounds great view. street. Food. Walking. Thailand 🇹🇭. 👍
Thank you so much for this very good and hungry trip. I can't wait to join Thailand, Phitsanulok, to test all these meals wif my thai gf. It will be a great adventure in Thaî cuisine 🥘🍤
Gawd the stuff you put in your mouth!! No wonder you like Sixcret 😂😂 you're gonna need 20k steps at this rate 😂😂
🤣🤣🎃🤣🤣
Welcome to my hometown Udon Thani 🙏🏻 Paddy
Congrats ! Because impossible for me to eat live animals, same with oysters.... 🤪 Wonderful night market !!
Haha yeah... Happy Halloween 🎃
Love it Paddy! I just shared this with a woman from Esan I know who now lives in US in Oregon. She misses the food! I miss it too. I am leaving Mobile Alabama in another hour or so driving back toward Florida. Doing some fishing along the way. Enjoy be safe!
In exactly 34 days I will be visting that market with my newlywed Thai wife. So excited...
Oh we're heading to Issan in two days time, once we've found two back tyres for the bikes.
You are more brave than I, to eat the raw and living shrimp. You ate very dedicated to entertaining us 👏 👏 👍👍
What a wide selection of exotic foods thanks again for a great video Paddy
Paddy..thanks for your lovely comments.. hope to see you around..Great videos...thanks
Paddy; you are so courageous... by eating these babies live shrims made my Halloween!! and i had a such good laught
Well done on the dancing shrimp Paddy.. you took that one for the team 👍👌❤️
Your live dancing shrimp 🦐 🦐 🦐 🦐 gave Mrs. R a really scary Halloween 🎃. She actually covered her eyes and said: "NOOOOOO!" 😱.
"Dancing Shrimp" .... What a pervert kind of "food"...Its a big animal cruelty...shame to eat!
Looking forward to viewing this in the UK with my roast beef and Yorkshire puddings, plus lots of veg and real gravy ❤️ 🇵🇭 ❤️🍽
Not sure about the circus music by the end of the video but entertaining & funny. I might have missed the "extreme" part too!
7 Phan Prao Road, Mak Khaeng Subdistrict, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province
Check this place out on your way home. Ask for Noi
The swimming shrimp… Reminded me of sea monkeys, which is basically the same thing… “Brine shrimp”. Lol nope
I visited Thailand last month, stayed there for 10 days and I gained one stone. Lol😱 Thai food is the best. Undeniably delicious.
Missed this one Paddy my bad......Love UD town i will be back over at the beginning of February I will look out for Sean's stall....keep up the good work fella
Dancing Shrimp ? Like Jonah and the Whale in Reverse but much smaller. Very Good and Interesting. The Vice President of the USA will be in Bangkok next month.Attending a meeting and Shopping.
What a good idea for a halloween video Patty. I couldn’t do the dancing shrimp either. Just the thought of something moving in my mouth gives me the willies
Good on you, Paddy. Seafood is very hit/miss with me. Squid, raw fish makes me puke...literally. Would make an interesting video..not!
(กุ้งเต้น khoong then) Dancing shrimp. You have to eat it with sticky rice for it's flavor to match. If you only eat dancing shrimp, it will taste too strong. 🤣
Totally unnecessary to eat creatures ALIVE, no matter their size or species!! Just to have fun of them jumping around. That is so stupid and ignorant and disrespectful. Eat meat, eat fish, but grow and kill them with respect. Your haunt for new viewers and growing your channel with promoting this practice is just SAD! Think Paddy, think. Think twice. Or take a nice bath in chilli sauce. Maybe this helps to activate your cells.
Literally the 3rd vlogger this week I've seen eating goong ten. Sometimes you guys are so unoriginal like everyone going to mark Weins restaurant also surprised you only just discovered it. Literally ate it 25 years ago one of my favourite Thai dishes still eat it 3 times a week. If you don't like them "dancing" shake the pack for a little bit..🙄🙄🙄. Eaten in Koh Chang, Pattaya, Phuket also seen many mobile goong ten trolleys strolling around Bangkok. Hugely popular Thai dish hardly unique or specific to any region. Also you are in Isaan my home town of Udon the North eats everything about 4 times spicier than the rest of Thailand. Something I would have thought you learnt in your travels is the food is creamier and sweeter down South and progressively gets hotter as you head North. My food journey in Thailand is eat everything, forget the stigma and if it's good eat it again simple.
So why are there reduced seafood stocks ???????? , catching seafood full of eggs should banned , education on fishing rape is needed. Plus seafoof so far from the ocean aahhhh ????????
Have had squid in Samui and they don't cook it very much so it is virtually raw 🤢🤢🤮🤮
@paddydoyle
What is the sony camera body and lens combo you're using on the tripod?
The AF is amazing !
I love Udon. Took the train there a few times and stayed a while.
Hi Paddy, have you visit Ban Chiang National museum yet ?
@Invisible girl.. Ban Chiang is a great place to see old potteries. Some places in there cannot be filmed. It's good to take a half-day trip.
@@kellyrios8179 unfortunately
Scariest food I ever seen in Thailand,…scorpion on a stick being sold on Khaosan Rd one Saturday night. Didn’t dare try it. Would you?
Scariest food I ever seen in Thailand,…scorpion on a stick being sold on Khaosan Rd one Saturday night. Didn’t dare try it. Would you?
Eeeek I screamed when you ate the live dancing shrimp!! Very brave. Your face said it all!!
Nice vibes from you mr Paddy Doyle. Laid back and pleasant. Subbed!
Thai people love sweet because main dishes often very spicy. If you can eat high level spicy then sweet drink or dessert will be awesome.
You faced your fears jeez I was expecting insects, bugs and spiders washed down with snake blood. That just looked like some nice food except when you bit the shrimp while they screamed their faces off😫
Udon is really amazing deal in Thailand. This place is secret, so don't share....55555.
Paddy 2 month ago: they asked me to sponsor my videos, but i don't like it, i said yes and returned to no. That's not my style of videos!
Paddy today: Hey, look in the description and thank you for sponsoring my video bla bla bla.
I hope it's worth, Paddy, i skip it anyway everywhere and don't listen to it. Have a nice day, don't lose your style of videos for fast 5 Pounds, that's not you.
I too dislike the grilled squid. I've never had one that is good. They're always rubbery and i've had them multi time. Idk why i kept trying them and expected them to be good. I know better now.
You are in "my" city in Thailand I'm coming back in the end of March staying for 30 days hope to meet you to show you the real udon
I had some of that sweet mayo on salad for breakfast when I was in Bangkok and have been trying to find it ever since. You are right...not great on some things but for my salad it was perfect. Nice channel...keep up the good work.
It's not raw prawn, it's a marinated shrimp and the reason why they gave you another sauce is because it's seafood sauce, it helps reduce the fishiness. Normally people don't eat marinated sauce because it's salty. You can't eat raw prawn because prawn is mostly from freshwater.
