the upcoming updates seem promising with "highly requested features" hopefully we get something cool and not just something stupid that camodo kids asked for like space. The game is definitely going in the right direction, or at least starting to after the disaster that was space, and some of the following updates.
Great vid. The game definitely isn't dying, it's just a lot of salty people turning away or older players such as myself slowly loosing touch with the game that is seen as the overall game dying, but it's popluar enough to replace any losses, so at this rate it won't die

first I've have over 1000 hours in storm works and all the dlc. personally I've been feeling that storm works since around 2020 was dying and its coming back the past few months but this video really helped with my understanding and i agree i could play this game forever even if it never got any updates also where can i go to be more apart of the community
@@Arandomguy892 i think joining some of the discords is a really great way to get more involved with the community you can offer help to new player, ask for help, show your builds and some of the servers even do build challenges. mine is in my bio if you are interested you can find a few other good ones through mine. im really glad you enjoyed the video!
Storm works just seems to be in a bit more of a community culture shift. Seen some older players leave for a bit or quit outright, but a lot of new players are finding this game and enjoying it. The sandbox stormworks offers will definitely help the game in the long run, when the Space DLC dropped after the Weapons DLC raised some eyebrows, the culture of the community just seems to have taken a shift more than anything which can very much give the feel the game is dying. Keep in mind these are players feeling more so alienated by the game becoming less SAR oriented which to a degree, is true. The Space DLC really upset some players on release which I think a lot of us remember
i agree from the style of the game to the gameplay its timeless the community is defiantly changing lots of the og players are going to college etc and not having enough time im probably going to have the same thing happen which is why i want to share the game and help new players enjoy it as much as i do. i cant see myself ever stopping to play this game it just may slow down in a few years.

I dont think I'll ever get bored of Stormworks, so many things you can do, I even sit at work and think of what I can build next or improve on😂

Even though camodo gaming isn't bad, the fans are other-wise.
Space was idiotic on every level. I quit the game after they announced that until recently.

The game is tedious, online doesn’t work when you want to play with friends, and the gameplay loop is boring.
