Untouchable was the first book I read by Sam Mariano, then I read Even If it Hurts now I into her books. She writes fuck up and twisted anti-heros so well I was impressed that she's not afraid to write them so dark.
I have been waiting for you to do this video. Thank you! I have only read one book by Sam Mariano (“Descent” because you recommended it) and I loved it. But unfortunately, because of a headache condition and vision problems I have to rely heavily on audiobooks and Sam only has one audiobook that I know of. If you ever get a chance to interview her for your channel that is always my #1 question when will her books be going the direction of audiobooks. Thank you for sharing. I love your channel! We have the same tastes in books and you have introduced me to so many great books since I found your channel, I could never thank you enough ❤

Sam is one of my one click authors, besides her twisted heroes I also love the dark humor she has in so many of her books😅 she's so unique. Anyway I just wanted to say I've read all her books including the Xmas ones and they are fantastic too. I wished Mistletoe Kisses was a longer book cause I really liked that couple and what can I say about the Hitman? It was such a fun ride and the H ties in with the Morellis cause he does jobs for Matteo.

Loved every second of this. I waited until I finished my ARC of Even If It Hurts before I commented 😅 I fully agree with your review of EIIH. I gave it a five star but I definitely noted and agree that it was missing the more emotional love connection. Great video! I also haven’t read her holiday romance. I am cautious with those 😂
It was very fascinating either way. It had a cinematic quality of a thriller but yeah... I didn't quiuuttteee get why she was so in love. But that's okay. It was thrilling.
Went on a bit of a Sam Mariano kick because of Untouchable. I read Untouchable, Boy under the Bridge, Irreparable Damage & Lives all this month. Untouchable was AMAZING. Irreparable duet was heart wrenching. And the Boy under the Bridge was a good but, like you said not quite the level of Untouchable.
Just finished 'Descent,' and it's now one of my favorite dark romances and pure non-cons that I've really liked. Nothing against non-con, it just doesn't work for me a lot of the time and trust me I've tried a lot. Four out of five stars the only thing kind've bringing it down is the heroine is sort of... eh. I get where she's coming from and I think her character is explained very well she's just kind of... dumb at times. But she gets better as it goes on. I know defiance isn't super popular when it comes to captor/captive and I get it, but I would've liked a little more pushback? I would've loved a scene where she gets away for awhile and then Calvin gets her and is VERY angry with her... but that's more personal preference than anything. Will be diving more into this author as I've been trying to get into 'Untouchable,' but after the first chapter it starts to drag a bit in my opinion. I probably just need to give it another chance. But that book energized me, so I'll see.
I agree the first couple of chapters dragged a bit but the whole story was worth reading. Just finished last month I was hesitant b4 reading it cuz of reviews but glad I did.
I read even if it hurts yesterday... finished it in one sitting...i loved loved loved Dare!!..he is so originally and genuinely a psychopath.... that's his charm tho....have u read sleeping beauty tho?
