Got the exact same seat in my 135. I love it. I've tried a few others, and a friend has the fia poles. I like the abe so much more. These are great for daily use. Not once have I wanted to have the stock seat back in. Drove my car from texas to wisconsin no problem. Easy to get in and out too. Also 6'3 and about the same weight.
At 10:54--55 you say "I just like no roll at all" What exactly have you changed on the front suspension to achieve that? I am going to change out some suspension parts to achieve that myself. I am hoping you can give me some ideas. Thank you in advance and I really appreciate your spot on content. Thx, Mark B.
Always wanted some Recaro PPs in my M3 but think I'm going with the Cobra Nogaros instead. Even here the seat belt receptacle seems annoying to deal with. I wish they just made it like the Porsche carbon buckets where it's a cutout.
I'd recommend a 981 cayman S 6spd if you can find one. imo not too old not too new and tons of aftermarket parts from soul exhaust and other companies.
Get into a Porsche 991.1 , Turbo S for mods, fast street car or. 991.1 GT3 as track focused car you can street drive. I looked at a 991.2 Turbo S that was moded making over 800 to the wheels but, ultimately decided on a new stock 992. The not GT cars all have twin turbos, even the base 911 so modifying for street/speed is easier. You could also go for a car that can be heavily modified to be improved, a (982) 718 Porsche Cayman with the turbocharged 4cyl. Can easily modify beyond 400/500 HP and a lot of work can be done to the chassis for handling. Able to build a really potent street and track weapon. The Cayman being mid engine layout (as opposed to 911 rear engine) the Caymans naturally handle well due to mid engine, balance and weight distribution.
Have you seen the Recaro Classic Pole Positions with the houndstooth inserts? I feel like those would look really unique and compliment the e92 and the 1M clone
Seats look awesome! What are you thoughts on the r888 for a daily driver (a car that might get caught out in the rain)? I need some new fronts and would like to do 265/35 r888’s but am a bit hesitant due to the fact the car is a dd and could easily be caught in conditions with pooling water.
I would love to put these in my E90… but I daily it and often have to drive clients around to meetings and I feel like they push the car over the edge 😂 look killer. Very jealous. Time for me to get a bigger garage and a daily I guess
New sub here. Can't wait to see what you do for a rear seat delete. That's something I've been thinking about for my car for a while. What's your daily driver?
I mean who is adjusting their seat every time you enter your car? Shouldn’t it always be one seating position anyways? I went with sportster gt instead of pole position but found that I have never adjusted the position lol
@@ThicWhips Had the CS in my Clio 3 RS for 6 months and in my 135i and Cayman my PP's and my stepbrother has the original m performance CS in his 1M. I know where I am talking about
@@BlakesGarage That is probably quite true. In all honesty I do not have experience with either. I currently have an auto solutions ssk. I suppose I was just thinking about the price difference between the two. It seems like he has a pretty substantial budget and is only putting the highest quality stuff on which is awesome so yeah in that case good recommendation with CAE
@@importraceramimportraceam1756 I have a CAE in my e30 best shifter ever. I’ve driven RTD and all the other imitations, and nothing feels remotely, similar to a CAE when properly installed and adjusted.

Thanks for sharing, I agree!
Great video! I am considering these for my G80. Going to watch the video on the comparison of the sportsters as well
that v8 sounds glorious. enjoy your seats they look fantastic.
Dig the seats, look great. Digging the plan for rear seat delet including the plan for red and black like the M1 clone.
I think a 987.2 would be great project to watch. love the content man
I agree!

Im 6'5 im gonna try these seats. Thanks😊

I have, yes those are sick. Also about $1k more 😅
Best Porsche for what you’re looking for would probably be a 996 turbo
These seats can slides back and forward isnt it?Because u said u are sitting far from steering wheel.

not a good choice if daily driver

Sportster CS seems perfect for your situation

Thanks for the sub! I think it will be good!
Would these fit in a e93 m3 ?
Yessir
How long did it take for the seats to arrive? Just ordered mine yesterday and I cannot wait to install them.
These the FIA spec NG? Or ABE?
Abe

Some people do. I certainly don’t. Set it and forget it lol
e92 one bad lil bixh for sure!
Yessir!
you say 6’2 and lengthy?
Chilllll 😂
are you leaning towards a Cayman or a 911?
911
11:03 relatable LOLOLOL
😂
Not so big difference then CS loooooool, You're so more stable and the PP are softer. more shoulder support! more feeling in the car!
You can laugh all you want, but I’m driving In both of these daily. Are you?

Get you a 997.2 Carrera S. Then mod it to make it sub 3k lbs. Not hard to do.
Throw a CAE in it!!
I was thinking that or an RTD. Any sort of chassis mounted race shifter would enhance the driving experience even more.
@@importraceramimportraceam1756 RTD is garbage in comparison

When did 6ft2 190 become average build? 🥲 4:29
I mean like, I’m not wide or too skinny 😂
