I agree! I love nature and live in the mountains... it doesn't seem like I would fit in the world of wall street with my values, but anyone can truly learn, profit and improve their lifestyle with these methods. I'm not quick enough to profit as much as I'd like, but I've learned so much and I'm hooked.

I was a union construction worker for 20 yrs running jackhammers and rodbusters for overhead hammering into cieling and columns to make 40k a year. Driving from northeast of Lansing Michigan to downtown Detroit. This was a new frontier when I caught one of your videos and I said that is what I want to do and that was in 2016 in the fall. You saved my bacon and it's a new life. Thanks buddy I appreciate your help with this new way to live life to the fullest.

So i had a teacher so to speak tells me that he trades primarily using the vwap, which makes a lot of sense after he explained why. But in his explanation i eventually came across similar scanner settings in TOS and thats what drew me to search for a video like this. I love this method after randomly having the idea sparked and watching your video. Now my problem is finding a broker that has that indicator or whats the next best thing. So TOS has scanners for "average volume" "unusual volume" and "volume change." Which one in your opinion do you thing resembles RVOL the best. Thank you so much for this vid.

Narrowing stocks down in the AM to relative volume is basic. You still have to get "in and out" at the right time and that's no easy task. Especially when you're playing stocks that all the "pros" are playing. You can get left holding the bag pretty easily playing these stocks. So be careful.

Another great Video Ross!! And I especially enjoyed the explanation and defense of "Day Traders" as not educated, and stupid. As you always say and are transparent "Day Trading Is Hard", and requires a certain level of "Aptitude". The "elitists" that dismiss Day Traders as Stupid, in my opinion seem more "angry" that "the game is changing" and they are no longer necessarily the smartest guys in the room. Love your channel.

Yes, because Day Traders are, affecting the market somewhat ...the more Day Traders, the harder the "elitists" will have to "work" when translating the market for the masses...it is becoming less and less a "given game" for them. I hope that they don't come out with another 'clamp down' rule to curtail success for the little guy.

I was advised to watch your videos and they are great. I spent the weekend with a notepad watching some, sometimes twice, and learnt a lot (and realising my mistakes). Had my biggest green day today.

WELL SAID. Daytraders capitalize on the short term imbalances in price. That is exactly what I will be saying when someone questions it from now on. Thank you Ross!

Hey Ross, you are def the GOAT daytraders ever, damn near perfect. Question: at your level of expertise, are you at the top of the mountain or are there still aspects of your trading you feel you need to work on? Thank you 🤔

Hey Mark, I feel like there are aspects that I still want to improve on. I feel like I'm a better trader now than I was two months ago and I hope to continue with this trend.

I don't normally comment. I don't post on social media. I am a day trader and successful at it and make a good living. after watching this I felt compelled to post my opinion for other traders and especially newbies. HANDS DOWN the best and most accurate insight as to what is important and what you should be looking for. Trading is complicated but keep it simple. watch this over and over again and watch the charts till it "clicks" because eventually it will. relative volume, Vwap, 200 EMA, Pivots. Your good. Nice video ross

Do you have a strategy for swing trading?? , because I can't execute trades fast enough (since I'm with Etrade using Power Etrade platform) and can't analyze the market when it's moving fast.

There is a course for swing trading available through Warrior Trading. I dont have any experience with that course, but if it's as good as Ross's small cap course you wont regret it.

What is considered a high relative volume ratio that you would aim for? Example, above 50%, 30%, 100%?

    • @DaytradeWarrior
      @DaytradeWarrior  2 роки тому +3

What is considered "high" volume is specific to the individual stock. Ross looks for volume that is at least 2x above that specific stock's daily average. His custom scanner settings help him identify stocks that fit that criteria.

Absolutely, one of the best videos over never watched. Next to Jeremy Fielding and his how to video, and 2g1c, you freaking win! Thank you so much because the last few sentences in the video explains myself better than I can explain myself. You are a magical wizarding warrior! Your name will echoe in the chambers of my progeny for eternity sir! Damn I'm watching it again!

  • @theboatadvocate

Your explanation at the end of the video may change my life, at least my trading. I had to stop the video three times to ingest the point you were making regarding the win percentage. I used to shoot competitive archery and we would shoot targets from distances ranging from 20 feet to 90 feet. As we would progress from the closest target to the furthest target, one strategy was to aim for the center on the close shots and aim for the target at the furthest target. If your arrow missed, it didn't count. Out of six arrows, I could hit the target more often then I could hit the center. Most shooters on the line shot for the center, looking for the big win and missed the target most of the time. I could count an easy 5+ points if I were just aiming for the target because I could easily hit the target but I could not guarantee a bullseye ever.

22:00 (ish) It's crazy I was talking about this earlier today after reading some of The Intelligent Investor.. Their biggest problem for them is their inability to evolve. It's like they're stuck in the past and are upset that things are changing. Like the guys who still wear bell-bottoms because of how "great" their lives were in the 70s.

Thank you Ross, it was, as always, a very informative stream. The big part where I'm currently struggling is to find a method of how to quickly determine position sizing and how it should relate to your overall bankroll. Once an ideal pattern develops, I want to be able to quickly enter a trade but I can't because before this can happen, I am required to enter my entry price, break-even price into an excel spreadsheet to determine my position size. And while I'm busy doing this, the price may have already gone way up!

You completely lost me... the RV spikes are lagging and drive the price action. By the time you screen for the gap, they’ve already gapped up. All the tickers on the screen then dropped back after open... by the time traders like us get in orders, everything has been priced in by the big boys. How does this RV show anything leading about the stock?
