    Thats actaully impressive for that kind of boat. Would be interested to see how she sails on a reach or running.

    How did you have centerboards configured?

      Doug Milburn that is so fast. Were you usuing the screecher? We have a 3400 and just a Genoa

      I have a screecher but was just using a genoa in the video (i show it about 10 seconds into the video) It is a brand new triradial genoa (same dimensions as the original stock genoa from Berig) and that was shot on my second week with it. I was using the original 2007 mainsail that came with the boat, which was fairly blown out on the leech from being sailed hard. I've since replaced the main and my leeway when close hauled is way better, more like 3-4 degrees plus i get about another half to 3/4 knot of speed upwind.

      Doug Milburn looked like a great day to be sailing! Guessing you were as close hauled as possible? Traveler for the main all the way to the side of the track? We had a pretty good day like this once doing close hauled sailing. Those days are hard to find :)
