Yeah, I remember FKHR or KMR saying that WMTSB was originally just going to be a one-off, though I'm not sure how much of that is true. Crazy to think the entire WMTSB series came about just because Sandalphon ended up being way more popular than they expected, especially considering how much GBF content revolves around it at this point.
@@michaelman90 you can kind of tell that it wasn't intended because sandalphon really only got a throwaway line or two explaining his proper relationship with lucifer. a lot more people used to see their relationship as father and son before wmtsb2 happened. the character in 1 is almost completely different from how he is in 2. sandy in 1 is a brat, sandy in 2 is a brooding bitter sadboy
@@michaelman90 sandalphon is the shadow the hedgehog of gbf (intended to die/be written off but due to supreme popularity was taken back into the spotlight) and I love him for it. his unit is still on my frontline
It's been a while, but the Covfefe Primarch is still one of the absolutely best characters in terms of design, and development. That plus, dude's ougi is literally a cooler laser version named after the fully emerged absolute god.

I can see the next season having him. Vira and a draph may likely be next since we had Belial this season. Next season will be Sandy coming in no doubt.
They really gave a greasy man fresh out of jail that immediately started throwing a temper tantrum not even two seconds into freedom a theme that made him sound like he's on Sephiroth level. ( i love sandy, always will love sandy, but i love to drag wmtsb I sandy thru the mud LOL )

初登場した「どうして空は蒼いのかpart.１」ではグラブル初の無属性ボスで複数の属性をランダムで繰り出して来たり、体力を9割削る無属性特殊技アイン・ソフ・オウル等強敵だったのを思い出します・・・。

今7周年イベントでシェロカルテのスクラッチやってるけど、レイと一緒にアナサン当たったわ
それはともかく、サンダルフォンの奥義命アインソフオウルだけど、遊戯王ファイブディーズのラスボスのデッキの要になるカードがアインソフとアインソフオウルから召喚される時戒神サンダイオンと時戒神メタイオンもサンダルフォンとメタトロン、天使の輪っかのアインソフが元ネタってされてるね
グラブル以外の余談だけど、天使つながりとして一応w
ちなみに最近では堕天使って言うシリーズで「黎明の堕天使長ルシファー」って黒い12枚の翼と剣と盾を持った見た目がファーさんそっくりのカードが出たから久しぶりに堕天使デッキで遊戯王を再開しようかとも思っている（＾ω＾）

人気なキャラなのは分かってますし000のルシフェルとのやりとりは感動しましたけど、どう空part1の印象が強いからどうしてもサンダルフォンが好きになれないです。
けどリミテッドサンダルフォンは強いので使ってます笑
