Quick yet solid bro! My Haslab Coco is still in box. I like it as decor. I figured this guy was coming & the chrome makes it even better. I’m not worried about a chrome viper, but a chrome Destro would be great!
I have to say, I am so glad I have the Hiss Tank version as I think it is the superior version. I prefer the shade of blue it has, the black for the inner shirt, and the cuffs make him look more like a leader than the gloves.

I did picked this one up. Didn’t backed the HISS Tank haslab. In a way a good thing I didn’t because of this retro so I didn’t miss out too much. Now I did get the Once A Man CoCo which is nostalgic to be because of the movie.
My favorite CC is the vintage ARAH swivel arm version. He's actually my favorite action figure of all time. This new retro version is by far my favorite Classified CC. Mine should be here Monday. I actually thought I might beat you this time, but nope! Lol!
Bobby, I like the chrome on him. Happy its for the mainline release. Everyone should be able to get him and I did get the HISS so I have the micky mouse version. Great review.✌️

I did preorder him. I thought he would be the best Cobra Commander but the colors of the HISS tank CoCo are better . I prefer the non chrom helmet too.
I've just got the first Classified CC and the Once a Man CC. I have a 3d printed hooded head on him as well as a few small mods like giving him the holster and pistol from a Marvel Legends God Emperor Doom, so he has a German Luger, and I took a cutlass/saber and scabard from an older Toy Biz Nightcrawler figure and have that in place of his weird snake blade thing. Kinda went for a Resolute style CC but with a hood. Once I get this retro I'll probably but the hooded head on the retro and the chrome helmeted head on the Classified one. Probably have to repaint the helmet but thats no biggie.
Retro is THE one for me, Mickey is cool but obselete now that retro is out and Salamander Cobra Commander is...unique, but the end of an era AFAIC, so I grabbed him. The dress uniform variants aren't my thing at all. Thanks for the quick review!
He's going to be my first Cobra Commander. When I started collecting he wasn't obtainable. He was also going to be my first Retro but I ended up getting Beachhead first. I thought you lived in the states but I must be wrong.
@beesbattlegrounds Retro Duke, he's definitely a peg warmer around here. Anyway, Classified Duke is great, in my opinion. My Cobra Commander doesn't even ship till October 🤷♂️. The Vac metal looks cool. I can't wait to get him even though he's not Classified. 😅😅😅🤘

How when why but how I want mine 😂 you reviewers always seem to get yours like 2 weeks to a month before it comes out! So this is awesome and exciting cause it’s coming soon but a bummer cause it’s going to be month at least before then!!
A bit disappointed that the colors aren't as nice as the HISS version. The white belt is an eyesore. Not sure about the chrome...will have to see it in person. What's up with the biceps? They look like the wrongs size. HISS arms were fine...why did they mess with it?
what's with hasbro and making every blue cobra character in different colors. it ruins the team building aspect imo. Atleast they were a little bit consistent from officer to trooper to Valkyrie
@@beesbattlegrounds Exactly, right now the only to pull that off is by having multiples of the same single character. What's sad is that they aren't working on this anytime soon, as apparently the new retro Cobra Trooper is using a completely different shade of blue...
@@Venom-cd7tw Yeah, it's pretty annoying to me too! Also, the different shades of red on the troopers. I was pretty disaapointed with the maroon on the HISS Fire Team and the latest BRIGHT red (nearly orange) on the Stinger driver and other shades in between. Very weird Hasbro!
Dude, do yourself a favor and stop collecting retro GI joes and continue to collect those fantasy joes with the hot pinks and all those bright colors. The neon and fluorescent colors with makeup on it. Yeah just continue. Those are the ones you really like!! 😂😂
The Blackout versions aren't bad. And I'd prefer new stuff opposed to the old outdated stuff just made bigger. I'd just want better weapons/gear instead

I live in the US. And I'd highly recommend Retro Duke as he's one of my top contenders for Classified of the year!

I think the new retro one is worse than the HISS one, the blue color looks so bad, and the mask chrome is bad too, but I can't afford the tank

The hsss tank commander is the best blue. Then swap the helmet from the new one to the hsss tank version. Wa la!💙🩵
