Thank you for doing this video, this is the best thing ever! I really appreciate the outcome and the work you put into it. This new quality of videos is truly fun to watch, so kudos to you!
i can understand him, but if it actually has good lyrics it's better than most fast rap. Most fast rap is "Dustin', choppin', venom in 'em knee and tennerman 'em parents"

Even though I never have a clue about what he’s rapping about, Dumanoid has always been awesome to listen to. Also, love how this vid is put together, the lyrics being filled in are a nice touch!
Dumanoid is one of the best rappers in the world rn, if not the best. his rhymes and wordplay are insane, to the point where even someone who doesn't speak hungarian would be impressed (he is the sole reason I want to learn hungarian lol). all-round underrated GOAT
But his music is simply unpleasant to listen to. You can’t even understand a single word when he raps like that. It’s the annunciation that is key, Eminem is the master at that for example. But with Dumanoid you can’t understand anything (and I’m hungarian).
@@gergo2944 that's fair. it's hard to understand things in any language when they're past like 15sps, so you being Hungarian and still not understanding what he's saying makes sense. And yeah, Eminem is definitely a master of enunciation, even if his sps is lower (but that doesn't matter). The reason why i like Dumanoid's enunciation so much is partly because most fast rap (and some normal rap) is completely or mostly incomprehensible (lmao), but you do have a point and I trust your judgement on that
Very good vid, especially the highlighting of lyrics. It definitely took a lot of time. Also Dumanoid trying to not make most insane fucking rhyme schemes I've ever heard (IMPOSSIBLE) Edit: 3:27 WHAT THE FUCK
I remember watching ur vids in like 2018 and now I’m just surprised that ur even willing to do these vids anymore, tbf fast rap is a way of life for some people but still
There's been periods where I have my passion to fast rap slightly die down, but I don't think there's a world where I'll let it go entirely. After all, the videos I made in 2017-2018 when I was a child have reached over a million people (total views on my channel), and I've shown well-deserved support and promotion towards artists that I strongly believe deserve it. Even while I've been in college, and at work, I'm still finding time daily to see how far I can take this fast rap stuff. Thanks for revisiting though and checking the new stuff, after all the years.
Lovely video, as always! I particularly love the formatting of lyrics in this one and would love to see it in future lists as well (though I understand this isn't always possible). Can it be said that, thanks to Dumanoid, Hungary has the largest SPS differential between its fastest and second-fastest rapper? Are there any other countries with large gaps as well?
Maybe Poland, the fastest rapper is kVr with 16,14 SPS, and the second fastest is probably MC Silk with around 13,59 SPS, but these are my private calculations so it is not official. Also kvR raps in English, MC Silk raps in Polish, it's a lot harder to be fast in Polish
I definitely would consider Austria as the most substantial difference. Ruffian is daily practicing and reaching ridiculous speeds in his practice sessions, I wouldn't doubt if we see him perform a 21+ in an official song some day. No other rapper in Austria is really attempting this like Ruffian is.
@obscuredmc_10 Ruffian told me his Mocca practice has a 21 somewhere in it. In Mocca's video, the description links a video, "The Making of Mocca". That's the session with 21.
I just watched many times and omg where is crucified nightmare i thought it was fast, but actually this video release 7 months ago and nightmare released 6 months ago
Do you mean the real-time highlight effect on the lyrics? I used Sony Vegas and highlighted the lyrics syllable-by-syllable. I think it took an hour or two at max, per lyric section. It was worth it for the outcome. In the example of Sony Vegas, you just need: -2 layers of text (1 white, 1 green) -View the video event FX for the green text, and enable Mask -Highlight a small area next to the first letter of the green text (do this every time there is another line of text) -From then on, you can highlight the syllables and customise when they should highlight by adding markers to the timeline. -If you want to have red text for bursts like I did, it's just the same process except with a third layer of text being red. That probably doesn't explain anything that simply so I'll make an unlisted video soon about how I did it, and I'll link it here.
idk if youre still reading these, but i have a few questions 1. why weren't tracks 1 and 9 of For the Record included in this? i can understand 9, but 1 should count imo 2. how fast is Houdini by Dumanoid? 3. is Wedere going to be in one of these artist lists?
I'll always read comments, thanks for asking these. 1. I've said this to Dumanoid when he asked about it, but I personally don't think that intros & outros fit to be classified as "songs". Actually for the 150 list, we were sent the outro to the album prior to its release - and he reached a speed of 18.2 SPS on it, but alas I just didn't think it fit the criteria that I'd want to have for presentation purposes. I actually was supposed to mention the For The Record outro in this video as an honourable mention (similar to what I did with Twista's acapella in the Twista list) but I entirely forgot to. But it's all good, actually this week he completely shattered his record on a feature with Crucified. Should be out on Crucified's channel in a few days. 2. HouDini - 14.38 SPS (15/1.043) drive.google.com/file/d/1AYcYssao0K7S1SlLodf2Pi6J9BBZ7K_d/view 3. Wedere only has a handful of published verses, so you'd be waiting a fair amount of time before I could make a list based around him (especially since I typically aim a top 10/15 for artist-based lists). But when he eventually does make more music & fast verses, I don't see why not. He's talented, I want to see what he makes in the future and how he develops his chopping.

1. From what I know, Pepe from Billy Zone. Around the 1:30 mark, there's a 13.77 burst: ua-cam.com/video/_GgIzztK-DQ/v-deo.html The difference is 7.97 SPS, based on Dumanoid's Sumaladumala verse. Credits to Dumanoid for showing us this, as well. 2. Bunch of discussion, Sabotahe's burst could be debated for weeks as to what can classified as syllables, there's nothing really concrete. For Crucified, that's for another day. Well, both of these examples are for another day, and thankfully I don't intend on making a 150 list until far later into the year. When the time comes, I'll definitely make a video dissecting certain bursts throughout fast rap that cause questions. 3. For Vortex, "Body You" should be a 15 in 1. "90's Mentality' is around 14.8. There's obviously a lot more songs, and I wanted to make a list video on him - but it's getting more challenging since I'm noticing he's deleting a lot of his old tracks (and plus, Arabic is phenomenally difficult of a language to measure, especially when there are zero Arabic speakers on the team.) For Usobuki, I couldn't really give you the titles. There's a huge amount of songs that he puts on his Twitter, and if you sort by Media you should be able to find them. There's a variety of high 13 to 14 SPS tracks. 4. I'm good. IRL work is draining me, so I don't think I can make a video this month. June is definitely gonna be good though. Preciate it
