Why try to be a tyrant and control a people, when you can just convince them that your rule is divine and if they don’t listen to you, that they will burn in some everlasting abyss. If there is a God, than he does not care for his creation. Many say god gives ur free will because he is all good. But a parent does not allow their child to choose between food and a toy, because they are incapable of competence. Just as humanity is incapable of good. If we can only be saved by God, than he decides to bring fallible creatures into existence, and guilts them for doing the very thing they programmed to, which by your words would be, is to sin. I do believe a God exists. I simply do not exist to him. And if heaven does exist, only thr select few that he has handpicked will inherit this paradise. But I am not of the chosen, for an eternity I have been dead to him. Perhaps my hope has finally died, and the Jesus I so long beloved, is dead to me, as well as any hope for salvation after death. For the only thing that awaits me when I die are two things. Absolute nothingness, or everlasting fire. This is my testimony, my testimony, of tragedy.
