I don't care for the game mode but I like the gamplay. I haven't played it yet due to this. I would love to see them release some other game modes to play because the cash out thing isn't my cup of tea.
ranked this season is on Terminal Attack which is a spin on search and destroy, give it a go, also there is other casual gamemodes like Power Shift (payload, basically)
You definitely dont need team coordination speaking from experience of me solo qing to diamond last season, just play support and help your team out depending your strengths and weaknesses

No 120Hz even though it has a ps5 version - I dont care about 4k devs. Not enough key bind customizations for controller let alone any mnk support. A clunky menu IMO and a lackluster friend system but hey beggers cant be choosers except when I choose not to play the game....
@olivierklich3962 it could do it just fine by my estimation. There's no true reason for high cpu usage on the conolse end. No anti cheat, a dev platform and tool kit to optimize, etc. Other games have had the successful implementation. Look at apex legends. Was 4k 60. Now it's 1080p 120. That is at a reduced LoD at distance but there isn't really complex textures or super far distance that is an issue. Idk leme know why you think it wouldn't work
The ps5 CPU is equivalent to a r7 5800x in best case scenario according to a quick Google search, which can do 120 but not 100% of the time. This makes it seem like a poorly optimised game but they've literally had to make servers calculate destruction for players because it's that demanding. Ps5 CPU still has to do a bit but apex is an old game with no destruction so 120 is easy.
So the game is still just as bad as ever. Got it. The game needs A LOT more than just new maps/weapons. It needs to focus on competitive play. No one likes casual games. Especially not FPS games. That is visibly proven by looking at ALL the big FPS games. All of them are extremely competitive and have esports scenes. People just legitimately are not interested in non-competitive leaning games. Because everyone wants to make content and its harder to make content on casual games with no real focus on competitive aspects. Ranked in this game is a joke and LITERALLY everyone can hit max rank. This game constantly patches all the time and STILL can't boost its numbers even a little bit. That should say enough. It's fun sure, but it's fun for like 2-3 matches and then don't touch it til 1-2 months later. Also characters have no story/lore so no one becomes attached. Without quirky/fun/interesting characters and LORE no one is going to play it. The lore in this game is nearly non-existent and you REALLY need to dig or look around to actually get the story. They've done legitimately everything wrong when trying to create a game that lasts long term.

The ps5's CPU couldn't handle a consistent 120 FPS in this game. It's really CPU demanding. I think you can turn off crossplay?
