For what it's worth.. I find these box opening video can get old very quickly, especially with how many there are on youtube, so I appreciate you sharing your insight on the game community and future instead of just naming the cards you pull. Keep it up!
While I think eventually a banned list and possibly reprints in other sets may happen. I feel like we are a couple years away from that way too soon to be reprinting cards that are less than a 1 year old in other sets. Unless they are going to make like a standard set each year on top of the 4 new sets once per quarter. My hope is that they do not make a standard set and do not reprint more than commons and uncommons in future sets and then maybe 2-3 years from now split the constructed format into standard and legacy or something of that sort. I’m hoping they figure out answers to the strong cards in the form of new cards versus banning the fun cards. Should be interesting either way.
I've already heard that within Inklands boxes the legendaries usually appear at the bottom in a highest ratio. This truly confirms that. 😮 So when Ill go get some random packs/boosters, it would be nice if I could pick em from the bottom. 😅 Maybe it's not worth it, but I do like more Floodborn than Inklands.
Definitely agree with you that a ban list may be coming, not sure if it will be soon though. To be fair, there is a section on the Lorcana website for an official ban list already, so they can release that whenever really
tbh, I like the card design and art alot but I think the game aspect is staying alive because of the IP, not because the gameplay is fun. Of course, there will be those who disagree with me, however I would consider Lorcana to be a gateway tcg. Gateway board games like ticket to ride or Catan can be fun at first, but once you play games like Dune or twilight imperium, it becomes so basic, you lose interest.
Magic will keep OG status for TCG. Pokémon is the biggest franchise in the world, of any content, not just TCG. Yugioh is great, but agree it’s peak has passed and Disney has so much more characters and content to use for this TCG moving forward and has more mass market appeal.
Both Magic and Pokemon have become an IP on their own. So they will never run out of IP. So theoretically, both of these games will stay alive longer because they will never run out of IP. Disney has a massive IP but there is a limit based on movies, shows they made, but to exhaust the IP will take decades.

What was the box sold at? My LGS is doing 114.99 for Inklands.
I believe this box was 120

Ravensburger has gotten a bit too stingy with these pull rates imo. Why do I remember chapter 1 having like 8 legendaries when it first came out?
I’ve had better luck with single packs yesterday I pulled legendary Robin Hood and grandma tala
