    I absolutely love your soaps! Your soaps are not soaps, they are art! Do the properties of the aloe vera survive saponification?

    Hi, my wife and I are trying te make the aloe vera soap. So far going well, we followed exactly the recipe but we find it takes a long time before the emulsion becomes as thick as in your video. How long do you usually have to blend and stir to have a thick consistency?

    I'm so glad opened this video. I try to make blue butterfly pea flower soap and already made the infused oil but there's no color in my infused oil when at the begining i expected to hv blue/purple colored oil 😢. I really disappointed cz i cant get the color from that flower. After i saw this video i'll try to add flower tea too. Hope it'll work.

      Definitely it is used widely in many countries, called Castille soap, it produces a softer soap so this is why the longer it cures the firmer/harder the bar will be. Ive used mine after four months, but it is soft when used so need to dry on rack each use. After 12 months it is much firmer. There are recipes you could try by soapers free of charge on you tube, one Elle everyday soap making an Australian is good.

    • @TheLemonLily
      @TheLemonLily 8 місяців тому +6

      Hello, olive oil soap tends to be softer, slimier and have less cleansing power than some of the other fats such as coconut oil. That's why it is typically mixed with other oils but it's not impossible... Just depends what qualities you look for in the soap
