I don't remember this commercial on TV, but I know this song very well! I got to see and meet the gentleman who wrote this classic song, Graham Nash, in concert twice. Every time he sings this song and plays it on the piano, the whole audience starts to sing along, and it is just magical to see and hear live! This song was my introduction to Graham and his music when I was a little girl at four years old. Go see Graham if he ever comes your way; this song is the best part of the entire concert! I am praying that he will make his way back to Philadelphia very soon. Love you Graham! Thanks for writing this classic and timeless song.
The man who does the back flip stunt and flicks up onto the house is my Uncle Vincent. so this advert was a ' very very very ' Iconic part of my childhood. Back in the day we only had 4 channels. There was non of this you tube or anything.We had to wait for the advert to come on the tele so we could see it. It would always take us by surprise. My mum shouting '' Vincent's on tele ' ... We'd all drop what we were doing and run immediately to the living room and try to see it before it went off... How technology has advanced brings back so many memories this. ❤ I was 4 years old. So this is probably one of my first ever memories
I was a housebrick in this more by accient they had run out of extras you dont see me but you see my friend briefly & daughters who where placed above the door a couple of times., I was great watching this get put together great times
How ironic nowadays! Maybe if they didn't give out so many mortgages like they're boasting in this ad we might not be in such an economic...mess now. I have to say though I too love the memories which this advert evokes from watching a copy of Mary Poppins recorded off the telly with this advert on it!! Nostalgia! Aaaaah!!!
