  • I know I primarily post Christian concerts and also teach (worship) songs, but I would like for you guys to take a moment and watch a phenomenal Guitar Player who is innovating the guitar world playing this style with his fingers. Truly gifted and just very incredible. I hope you guys enjoy it.

      It’s funny that you said that because myself and all my Guitar Player friends are really into this guy and we were shocked that he came to such a small venue. And yes, we agree that the reason why is probably because most of those artists were probably hanging out and they came from the NAMM show. Would you believe that everybody at the show practically was retired lol I didn’t see not one young person there.

      @@louispick2668 I've stopped their for dinner with guitar buddy and saw Ventures old Moserite guitar enshrined there with others. They were my first guitar heroes when I"d just started playing, now 60 years later a new inspiration appears. A changing of the guard. So, it's a fitting place I think. Buck Owens would smile. Also, Matteo was playing in show booths at NAAM- pretty small venue! He has great presence and focus, even surrounded there close-in by people.

    This song was written by Stevie Wonder. Jeff Beck covered it wonderfully, most notably with Tal Wilkenfeld. Nevertheless, the title should say it's a Stevie Wonder cover not Jeff Beck.

      Bass player has an amp. Matteo pedals through the house. The trio played their first two gigs at Alva's in San Pedro Mon. and Tues. with the same rigs except drum screens. All weekend at NAMM, then Alva's. All three are excellent musicians.

    What happened to the country music there

    • @louispick2668
      @louispick2668  4 місяці тому +3

      They still do country music there, predominantly. But because of the NAMM show that was happening in California, you had a lot of artist playing at various places that they normally wouldn’t play at..

      Doesn't bother me at all.
      It's just not a common sight, that's all. Why they do it? Don't know. May be too loud for Matteo otherwise

    • @tjstratman27

      It's a sound barrier. It works to cut down the ambient sound coming into the drum microphones from the band and the audience and it cuts down on the drum sounds going out, so that sound doesn't bleed into any other microphones or instruments on stage.

      @@tjstratman27 ok thanks a lot...But I suspected that It could be a thing regarding the sound as you have brilliantly described...I have to say that Matteo and his bandmates are a little bit obsessed with cleanness and the clarity of the sound...It seems that musically speaking he hates chaos and disorder...Never seen a thing like that onstage, it's pretty unusual...

      Because he saves money by not hiring a keyboard player. In this type of music, there’s not a lot of money when you’re traveling around, so easier to split up the money between three people.
