I LOVE Stanley Unwinode. Uniquifold unexplainable. No-one will ever be able to copify or even beginifect to do anything like this. Such a great upload. Thanks. :-)
Loved Stanley, if you just took the time to listen to him he was so funny, Unwineeze rules as worlds funnyiest language, and the world needs a new STANLEY UNWIN. RIP STANLEY sadly missed but never forgotten. Your welcome.
Thank You for the video. R.I.P. Stanley. Thank You. I could never get enough of your TV and radio appearances. The video clip of Stanley appears to have either no colour, or very little. Do you know if the studio was the venerable Pebble Mill (R.I.P.), which was built for colour working, or another regional centre, not yet colourised? Sorry to be an anorak, I’m trying to date the clip. Thanks.
I can't remember her name but she's the best presenter I've heard so far deal with Stanley Unwin. As Eric Morecambe said to Andre Previn before that famous sketch, everyone involved has to play it straight. That's what makes the whole thing funny. Too many presenters either tried to be funny themselves, or made it obvious they didn't understand a word the Prof was saying as if he was just talking gibberish, which was a bit of a fizzbang partypoop. Whereas, the funny thing to do is to go along with it leaving the audience to just enjoy the overall silliness. Brava! Whoever she was.
Stanley Unwin was brilliant. But did dyou notice the high standard of interviewer the BBC used in those days? Pefect English and well mnnered and well dressed. I wish The BBC (at least) would bring back those standards. And now we are to lose Paxman.... Deep folly.
Well indeady, buy the sack of deepfolly. He speak with the heady, but more comes out with the throaty. Deep joy, that somebode should talkus through our mosty set abouty loads side, and makes usey eyeloads .
And what's the bollocks they're chatting about them being invented by Aborigines as toys, instruments and whatever else? They were used as hunting sticks. Muppets.
Stanley Unwin was absolutely unique. In the clip he had an instant and relevant response to every question, showing what a sharp mind he had.
Used to love listening to him as a kid, deep joy RIP Stanley.

A dwindly bank account - I have one of those. And I like to listen to Louis Armstrode. Professor Stanley U. was great fun. Deep joy.
I really do believe most people don’t realise how talented he was to say all that he spoke was without a script,

Judy Spiers. She could be quite amusing herself, at times. Also rude, at others. Neverly mould.

6:03 When the kid asks why the boomerang comes back when it's thrown, I love the way the guy groans.
Does anyone remember Stanley in "The Secret Service"?

Boomerangs are only used as a hunting weapon

@maxmoves: The Small Faces ?!? That's The Kinks, singing "Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon" !!
@Maxmoves64: you're thinking of "Lazy Sunday" by the Small Faces.
Clever! But why would you ever start in the first place?
cos its funny of course!!
Boris Johnson’s new spokesperson.
Hilarious stuff! What happened to the very sexy looking Judi Spiers?
Still hosting a radio show apparently
HE SHOULD BE THE SPEAKER FOR HOUSE OF COMMONS OR SHOULD HAVE DEEP FOLLEY
Comedy gold a true one off.
Love him!
Went to a school just down the road from me - Headlands in Penarth
Pebble-o-milley at the one, Judi Spiers in glory-oh black and whiting, no clue on the colour-ness disappearey, but neverly mind.
Boomerangs are banned nowadays due to Health&Safety.
Lost youth: where are you now, children ? Come back to us, please, and say.
Thrumok themp laughthrot of gigglefot, nowonder! Great vidofil of stanlo Unwinbole.
It seems as though Michael Jackson has drawn his inspiration from this guy.

What's inexplicable about the boomerang?
Uploader's video & uploader's questions.
The two topics don't match at ally-ho!
unfortubold, the umbimpresses 80 styled hairdos all resembled princessee dianaases. was the freakin fashion - get thee over it -

Sadly missed
She obviously thinks he is very funny and she is a very good stooge to his unique humour.
Well indeady, buy the sack of deepfolly. He speak with the heady, but more comes out with the throaty.
