Jeremy is a legend, He's someone with story's to tell
He’s a great narrator and good at describing details
Someone you wish to meet not for fame but to gather knowledge and wisdom from him, he has for sure countless stories that would drop our jaws to the core of the earth. I’d do anything even for 5 minutes of his time.
@@toastedtarts4044 z
Like me.
Because you're a nasty person, I'm not telling them.
@@Facts_dont_hurt Sir, take this nuts.
I wish he was still fishing…. My childhood was amazing because of this man, never met him or talked to him but hes showed me more about life than my own father
I get that totally. the best anyone can do is to show themselves about their life.
Hes caught everything sadly

Jeremey Wade is that one Grandpa that everyone is looking forward to see in every family gathering. Imagine just sitting in the living room listening to his stories along with your cousins
I’m a serious fisherman and have always been addicted to this show, Jeremy does some things that I would never think of doing, I live in the South where there’s alligators 🐊 and bull sharks 🦈 that’s about scary enough for me!!!
He’s a badass!!!
Not so serious fisherman here. I think this is more interesting than only fishing
I am Florida man and I fear no gator or shark. Don't be dumb around them and you won't get bitten. There's a guy on UA-cam who shoots huge cobia (a fish) with spear guns from around bull sharks. No tanks, just free diving. The cobia follow the sharks so that's where he shoots the fish, within feet of big sharks. No problem. He can see the sharks, and they see him. Don't get in murky water, don't surf during times when lots of bait is around, like the mullet run. Hands and feet get bitten by mistake, like a reaction bite from a fish on a lure. Stay in clear water, don't swim with dead fish tied to you, don't get in bait schools.
With gators you want to avoid getting down low near the water, like don't bend over to grab a fish when you catch one around water lizards. Do NOT walk a dog near water with gators. Be very careful with kids too. Adults standing up around the water are fairly safe, we look very tall to an animal in the water. Oh, and don't swim with alligators either.
Use your brain, you don't need to fear the critters. Just understand them.
No, this show has just begun.
This is internet showing, not television.
They're very different products.
the scariest part must've been the descent. Just nothing but blue that darkens quickly.
Jeremy has shown all of us and caught things that are literally from our deepest darkest nightmares ....before river monsters..I had never seen or heard of 90% of the truly amazing and scary fish that lurk ...unseen ..in unassuming rivers around the globe...so many to think of ..but the giant salamander in Japan was unbelievable...
Mainly in the Amazon...
A real life pokamon!😁✌

Love how the shark keeps moving his eyes sideways like he’s embarrassed people are watching him eat. Amazing video!
It looks funny but that is in fact a protective membrane. Most sharks have protective membranes that cover their eyes when biting something so their eyes aren't damaged by struggling prey.
That gave me chills! I remember reading about six gilled sharks when we didn’t have video footage of them and now there is this. Wow!
I’m generally curious, does the number of gills mean something ?
@@miguelpacheco8906 the Bluntnose Sixgill has six gillslits. Which is more than the average shark which only has 5. The only shark that has more than that is the Broadnose Sevengill shark which as its name suggests has 7 gillslits.
always love his respect towards what he hunts and what hunts him
Nothing hunted him ever
@@hgbbccchcccvvb8226 any number of dangerous fish could have attacked him and have attacked him.
its not necessarily "hunting" but neither is fishing. so take it as you will.
@@DarthChosen yeah he lost me the moment he labeled catfish, Pike and even laketrouts as "monsters". With very few exeptions, none of the fish he went after were dangerous at all.
@@hgbbccchcccvvb8226 hahaha ok then
What about the T-Shirts ? 👕
This is just a t-shirt company.
I wish I could have the adventures Jeremy Wade has had!
The adventures yes. A lot of the fish, no. Some of them have very large teeth and a bad attitude too accompany the teeth. I think I’ll stay on land.
Calmest dude ever. I woulda freaked at the giant sea insect, never mind the shark inches from my face! 😂
Jeremy & River Monsters company, thanks for your many years of production! You are all so great, and I love your cuts.
Id love to meet Jeremy and just talk for hours I don’t think I would get bored of the story’s
Absolute legend💯
hmm i wonder why this submarine video came up on my recommended on june 26th 2023
🤣
That would b so amazing and so terrifying being that deep. It's cool to think about all those creatures living in complete darkness 24/7 and that they can survive at those pressures.
And you thought you were pretty good.
4:46 RIP isopod.
Man’s got swallowed whole
Jeremy is absolutely brilliant.
I have always loved his programs, and always will.
I hope at some point he comes back to our TV s.
There's a recent one called Dark waters of you haven't seen it
The future, I've seen!
The future is internet.
I hope he's teaching or researching at present.
Absolute legend Jeremy Wade is
Doug wade was better.
He gave me a sports car 🏎!
I sometimes lie down and think of Doug wade and how generous he was.
He didn't have to offer that car for sale.
Not many people trade like that.
If only we had the internet back then.
His buying and selling would have been captured and we could all learn how it was done.
How to buy something great and just get rid of it in less than a year.
Truly remarkable.
I've rewatched his shows so many times, I've learned so much and I've learned not to trust any body of water lol
Anybody of water?
That was one happy looking shark when it showed up.
What an experience. I love how ancient looking these sharks look, especially with their tail
Did you see the video where the 5 metre shark was dying slowly at the bottom of the ocean and they woke it up?
That thing was dark grey with a mouth full of rotten busted teeth, it looked evil.
4:30 that is terrifying
Wow! That was amazing to watch on the screen! Was trying to imagine seeing it through the portal Jeremy viewed and came over all shivery skinned 😂. Thanks for this, will remember for a long time
This was a good trade. Shark received a full belly, you received a rare show.
My neighbour's wife is a river monster, she's got the gills and everything
I have always loved and respected this man
4:56 the size of that 6 gill shark makes the submarine look like an innocuous bath toy
Joe Rogan needs to get this guy on his show.
Why ..
@@3storiesUp I've watched him fish for monsters solo all over the world for years, guys a legend.
Jeremy wade is far too intelligent to be on a show hosted by someone of such inferior intellect
@@bazmc1153 no
Agreed
Finally a fishing channel THAT ACTUALLY HAS ACURATE THUMBNAILS amd not click baiting with crappy editing.
Used to love his tv . No fake drama or made up risk , just straight entertainment and education
The closeups are amazing, the zoom to the eyes - spot on.
The concept of a spot on, will soon become extinct.
The internet will see to that.
Wooow, that's some experience Mr Wade!
The cameraman sure is incredible to withstand 900lbs of pressure under the sea
Bravo!!!
Well no because the title explains their in a two man submarine
Yeah, he's just really, really fat. :P
@@morningstar7401 you must be really fun at party huh? 😏
Who the hell needs horror films when you have stuff like this.
He makes these things less scary to me, it's the teeny tiny parasites that haunt my dreams...
Your gonna need a bigger sub.
The way the shark's eyes rolled back.. that's some nightmare material..
The eyes weren't "rolling back", sharks have an eyelid like flap of skin that they use to cover their eyes when feeding like that to prevent any of the tiny, stray bits that are kicked up when it takes a bite from getting into/damaging it's eyes. The eyelid-like feature closes front-to-back horizontally compared to our eyelids, which close vertically top-to-bottom.
Ohh didn't know that. Thanks for explaining 👍🏼
@@moogle68 WRONG!!! They roll their eyes back.
@@Illness.og. are you sure? I'm fairly sure I'm right, but I might be mixing that trait up with lizards because I know a lot of lizards also have the whole "protective eyelid" thing.
@@moogle68 yes reptiles such as alligators and crocodiles have a clear membrane which is essential a third eyelid. Sharks on the other hand actually roll their eyes back, the white you see is a very tough protective cartilage.
You know that the thing you're fishing for is really monstrous when you need an small submarine and an explosive harpoon gun for it.
Lo más Grande En la pesca 🎣 🐟
That eyeroll 🥶
A legend among fishermen
did that isopod make it? or did the shark accidentally eat it :O
This was so awesome to watch. Thanks for sharing
It's just a 👕 t-shirt making company.
That isopod at @4:46 is thinking "FML I eat once every 5 years and I JUST HAD TO EAT TODAY !?"
Little did you know the sharks staring directly into your soul.
Always watching👀🦈
the shot at 5:00 really shows the size of that shark🤩
Jeremy wade and Steve Erwin would be best friends
Woooww Jeremy this is AMAZING... I never knew sharks are 5 miles deep beneath the surface layers. You're so brave. Cool Sub ! 👊😘
They were at 2000 ft, not 25000.
Still deep enough. I'm a shark diver in Oz, and 125M is great seeing all the Monsters of the Deep at night...
Huge respect to you from India sirr
Haven’t watch one of these vids in awhile
That's one deep river
Anyone remember the episode where he dives at night with the oarfish? Will always be one of my favorites and it wasn't even in a river.
That was a cool episode!
No screams ....no shoutting .... GREAT !
Awesome clip, love seeing footage of the six gill sharks, especially at depth. Jeremy makes so much damned fine content.
I used to hang around with the 6 gilled sharks 🦈 at the pub.
I know all about this.
Man, you impress me very much just by looking @ what you have seen & done!
Just beautiful beyond words…
We must protect this man
So who was waiting for a shark way bigger than that to eat that 1
RIP that giant isopod
I love this guy. He has been doing this since he had a head of black hair.
Always amazing.
That's a very strange river, it has sharks and isopods in it.
I don't think that's a river.
Edge of the Marianna Trench in the S Pacific. The Trench is the deepest place on earth.
The series is not about monsters in rivers, it's about the adventures of a river monster inside a sub.
“Is it gonna feed?! Is it gonna feed?!”

Thank you
Wow just absolutely incredible to see
That shark is beautiful.
The music is absolutely suspenseful...I was eating my dinner and found myself holding the fork for the whole clip without eating
Now THAT sounds dangerous. 😄
props to the cameraman filming the submarine at 2000 ft
🤣
🤣😂🤣🤣......☠️
The composure you need to retain calm in a situation like this is something I highly respect anyone for lmao, one crack and you're sucked into cthulhu's mouth
They sure made that 🦈 sharks night or day can’t tell what time it is down at the bottom of the ocean haha. It’s surprising being able to see a sharks eyes so clearly it looked like the shark was looking right back at you even though it couldn’t see you.
Woow that's a fantastic experience and a risky one..your a💪💪💪
04:45 Rip poor isopode
Aquanaut is what you are sir. Love your work 👍
Contrary tom what Jeremy says about the Shark not being able to see him they have receptors that will pick up any electrical activity and so will be able to see him maybe not in the visual sense but I'm sure that Shark will know there is something there.
Contrary to what you are suggesting, they cannot in fact see him. Being able to sense, smell, taste etc. something is entirely independent of specifically being able to see something.
@@HugeInsect Sight is the most important thing for you, because sight is your most developed sense and your brain is used to operate on sight foremost. A shark has different senses, and a different brain. It's tricky to figure out what it would feel like to be a shark in the ocean. But given what we know about their sensory organs I'd agree with the post that the shark will pick up the submarine and the second camera outside with its electric senses. I also think that the red light gets dispersed on edges and through surfaces, and the shark's eyes will pick up something glowing in the dark. I also think saying out loud "I don't make a sound" makes a sound.
His natural electrical signals are isolated from the water via the submarine.
Shark getting his first taste of pork chops
Isopods are so cute.
Incredible
His grandkids are never bored with him.
You are the best fishermen in the world amazing fishing
Very cool Jeremy!
Mmmmm yeahfthat! Fascinating vid!
Can't the sharks pick up the electronic signals from the cameras and equipment? I thought they didn't necessarily need light to see.
yeah, this specific shark has really poor eyesight but still has very good electroreception.. curious to know how a submarine affects their ability to use that sense
They likely do pick up those signals but they do not register as "normal" to the shark which exercises caution in its approach.
At that depth the shark is used to operate completely in the dark, orienting itself with electrical and flow sensor organs instead. I'd guess it will have a pretty good mental "picture" of the sub and the other equipment.
AWESOME!!!!!!
R.I.P to the isopod at 4:44
It fell out of the sharks mouth at 4:54 on the right. Isopod should be fine
I absolutely love six and seven gill sharks they are just so fascinating, well all sharks are but I do have favourites
He is a man with life experience and when he gives you advice you listen

Love sharks full stop
It looks like the window cracked just after he says it would mean I stand death if it cracked lol
Amazing to think not that long ago six gills were borderline mythical creatures they had never been sen alive...now you have clear footage of it in its own environment
they catch them off the beach... just google six gill off the beach
