Yeah, once again, getting to know fragrances through blind sniffing, becasue you don't get biased, you smell what you smell, you love what you love, withought knowing the notes, names or the brand. Everything the best for you and your loved ones :)

Don't think I'm quite there yet myself, but perhaps one day. 🥰 Great example too about never saying never to individual notes or accords! I used to hate neroli flower and specifically how it was combined with the musks in AdP's Colonia Essenza. Now it's in my top 3 from the brand. Preferences can certainly change as we do. Would be interesting to see a similar video next year with a comparison to this one! The journey continues...
I feel so lucky, recently I realised I own so many gorgeous, breathtaking fragrances and these days not many things can absolutely wow me, I am garteful for both, for my gorgeous fragrances as well as the fact that I can still be blown away. Happy new year to you, thank you for your constant support, I really appreciate :) This year, definitely I noticed I was gravitating more to fresh, crisp, bright scents, much more than my usual dark, heavy and sweet perfumes. What was your best discovery?
@@pixieandthenotes I did pick up Philtre de Parfum and a decent decant of Vanille Havane (both exceptional), but I confess that there weren't many. Roja's Manhattan, L'homme Ideal Extreme and Bergamot & Leather Spritz probably round out my fav 5.
You are always an ispiration with your choices Iga! Last week I have been searching my samples of Les Indemodables, finally found then and today trying Vanille Havane. Indeed more tabacco than vanille. I like it a lot. Will need to test properly, so far very good! I bought Shalimar millésime also because of you 😆. I haven't made my 2021 favorites. I bought some new perfumes but mainly wore from my collection. Wish you all the best for 2022! 😘

I’m so so sad that it is no longer available. As a Shalimar lover, what would you recommend comes close from the rest of the line? I have debated ordering Philtre 💖
First of all, congartulations on your wedding! Thank you for the comment. Oh you definitelly should. I am obsessed with Philtre, I can easily imagine it as a perfect bridal scent as well. It was my most worn in the last year.

Well, if you don't like leather, the opening might be a bit too much for you, i found it quite harsh and "weird" the first time I wore it, but it only gets better if you give it a bit time. I still hate typical tuberose and typical aquatics, but now I know I have to be more open-minded as they can be done and served in many different, surprising ways.

Yes, my cat is Sushi, hahahha. Yeah, so many fragranves out there have such misleading names. Vanilla Flash from Tauer, same story _one of the most beautiful rose with tobacco and spices. Millesime leaves me speechless every single time.

I can kinda see that, but to me the vanilla in Le Lion is more lie Eau Duelle vanilla.
