Great videos. I love all of the love and care that the staff, Allison, and Jeremy give to the beautiful primates. Love them all.
oh man! Are those some 'poop-turds' that I see on the deck at 18:57 & 19:00 ? This is the 1st time I've ever spotted 'em during this series (not that Im always looking!) LOL
(as for that secret grooming session at 21:00 -Kudos for them! I know how Phil feels!)

I remember when Bulu Mata and Rieke were born at the respective zoos in 2015 and eventually made their way together to Monkey World. Both were so adorable! and that was the first time I had heard of Monkey World. There was a video shortly after they arrived at Monkey World made by Alison and another keeper for an update, and they both looked like they were such characters even at that young age, especially Bulu Mata. He was actually starting to laugh. It was that series of events that caught me up in the orangutan plight and the respective rescue and rehab centers. I have been addicted ever since. Thank you all at Monkey World for sharing your incredible work and stories. You are all simply brilliant (catching the English phrasing).
It's sad to see that you have been deceived by the fake dramatizations that these fraudsters have created for your "entertainment". You should support real conservation efforts by those who truly care about animals.
@@kendrahansen1175 You are entitled to believe what you want. I for one think this is an amazing conservation organization who care about their charges. In other words, mind your own business.
@@wendyfolkers3113 And YOU are certainly entitled to remain ignorant and naive. You won't stop ME from making any statements here, especially when I am telling the truth. In other words, shut your mouth and and accept the fact that you are incompetent.
@@kendrahansen1175 Wow... I don't think I am the incompetent one here. You are definitely aggressive and demeaning to those who do not share your views. You have no idea what I have researched nor who I am in the field of conservation and rehabilitation, yet you make these accusations. I am certainly lucky not to know you personally. Good luck to you, and if you continue your barrage, I will report you.
@@wendyfolkers3113 You can "think" what you want but you obviously DO NOT know the meaning of that word and you are certainly misusing it. In the end, it does not matter what you have "researched" because it is obvious to everyone here that arrogance and ignorance is what is driving you at this point. I don't have to rely on self-serving statements to support my views and it is time that YOU learn how to defend your position. You are not only an embarrassment to this field but you are a disgrace to women who genuinely work hard in this field of work. In terms of knowing me personally, I am not surprised to see your statement on that topic. Insecure and uninformed people usually don't want to know me personally. Lastly, sure, go ahead and "report" me. It seems that is the only safe route for you to exit this conversation with any amount of dignity.
Sending prayers for you and your family and for the babies. I really enjoy watching your videos and if you cannot make videos anymore you will be greatly missed. Godspeed to you and yours.
I’d like to see Oshine Foster the Baby . Bolou is adorable ❤
Unfortunately, she doesn't have milk and that baby is too young.
Me too.
21:12 woah that’s a bit more than a groom session!
Any animal blessed enough to be rehomed to MW is going to have a wonderful life.
Its hard trying to find time to catch up on my primate fix but ig its better to have some backed up ready to watch then waiting for one to come lmao. Ty so much for posting these
Please bring back Monkey Life! We just started enjoying seeing new seasons when you suddenly stopped at nr. 10.
I just love the wooly monkey keeper. She is so lovely and her voice is so sweet. I wonder if her disposition is as sweet as she sounds?
She was as excited about a new wooly monkey baby, she was as proud as a new granmama!! Just a sweet young lady all the way around!
God bless these people who go out of there way to give these beautiful monkeys a safe home.
This is amazing to see ❤!! Animals are so smart !! ❤
Beyond Wildlife is a great channel . I love it and I think the caregivers there are wonderful . Thank you for sharing . Be well , be safe , and prosper .
George is an absolute UNIT
Mitsu looks like a cheetah/cat...Streamlined, fit, and even move like a cheetah!
I’ve noticed they don’t quarantine animals they bring into the facility. The ones from zoos most likely have been vet checked for a period of time. But I wouldn’t risk putting an animal that someone kept as a pet in with the others for a number of weeks. Especially the neglected ones. If the previous owners neglected them they sure as hell wouldn’t have had vet checks and immunisations done. I know monkey world absolutely adore each and every animal they have there so there must be some sort of process in place to ensure they’re disease free? I hope?
I feel like Brass and Elvie are some kind of "mico" monkey, also known as Silvery Marmosets. They are most commonly found in the south of Brazil and north Bolivia.
Mamma knew that camera was there. Lol
The ODD couple. Lol
The baby orangutan is so cute! I wanna hold him.
Oscar is a great dad. 😊
Thank god for foster moms❤️
Maternal instinct is stronger in some females than others, and no doubt that many an orphan or abandoned infant is alive today thanks to that instinct.
I just love her hair style.
RIP Sissy Jo
Awesome🎉🎉🎉
❤️❤️❤️❤️
at 6:09 Hsiao-quai giving her finger to the camera, lol.
Yep, that looked like a finger at the camera to me, too.
I love capuchins
Do they separate apes and Monkeys by subspecies or with Orangutans by species.
Fingers crossed.
thanks ralf;D
How is that 1 orangutan going to take care of all those babies?
What happend to the other mother that had the sensarne section.?
What happened to Cindy Lou?
Can someone explain to me how they say at the beginning of every episode that they're the biggest in the world at 240 monkeys and apes, yet Nyaru Mentang, which does the same thing, has over 400 orangutans alone.
I think the distinction are the number of species represented at Monkey World, but that's just a guess. I wish the BOS foundation would do videos like these. The TV series, at least where I am, is sporadic. I love the Orang Jungle School vids, and want to know what's going on with Beni and the rest of the gang!
Nyaru Menteng specifically exists to prepare orangutans to be released to the wild whenever possible. It is a school. Monkey World focuses on keeping primates comfortable and in as natural an environment as possible, but they are still always going to be in captivity. It is a sanctuary.
@@pamcunningham9608 Yes, obviously. Monkey world is also involved in the European Species survival program. The orangs and wooleys and other primates at MW are in captivity, other than the location in Viet Nam, but they have safer lives than living in the wild, and they are contributing to the endangered species survival programs. Additionally, they have secure and healthy food sources, excellent medical care, and are not in danger of losing their habitat, as they are in Borneo. I don't buy anything with palm oil. Do you?
@@royalbookshopper I was helping explain the difference between Monkey World and Nyaru Menteng, which the other commenter asked about. And no, I do not buy products with palm oil. Do you recycle your old electronics to reduce the need to mine coltan?
Has the light colored stumpy hairless
The little baby orphaned Orangutans, should be turned over to an Orangutan Rehab. They will raise them, teach the all the survival skills they need, and 8 years fown the road, they are released back to the wild. Orangutans are endangered, so they should be rehabbed where possible.
15:22 bro
I will raise the tiny ape
You aren't qualified. You're not an ape either. So the answer is I don't think so, no.
They may be cute but not worth the tens of millions in public virtue signal money that is spent. Not even close.
Why these people at this sanctuary do not allow the little small orangutan to be in the corridor between the two rooms and give the hopefully Surrogate mother a chance to see it being some sort of distress and want to jump in and help it I don’t know!? They say they want another animal to be the surrogate mom but they give no other mother there a chance to even consider it. They never leave it long enough, we’re talking by a long shot! That baby monkey is not going to die in one day. Let it sit there and Street for a while and maybe she will come and help it and take control. But they never give it a chance to do that. If it shrieks for one second they wouldn’t take it away. These people like Ito raise monkey babies. All that wanting them to surrogate is just a front
Great apes in cages. How absolutely shameful.
so cute 🥰🤗
When does great apes usually stop nursing there baby and dose there milk dry up.🦧🦧🦧
Orangutans nurse up to 8 years..
I’m not sure about the others.
Orangutans nurse their young ones up to 6-8 years. Chimpanzees around 4-5 years. Bonobos also up to 4-5 years. Gorillas around 3-5 years and humans wean whenever they need to or want to.
🤓🇸🇪
Just like humans. As long as a baby is nursing actively milk will be produced. It's kind of supply and demand in healthy primates.
orangutans are not monkeys are they?
WHY ARE THE CAPUCHINS SEPERATED? THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO MATE! THEY ARE NOT ENDANGERED! MONKEY WORLD ISNT A RESORT!
They are not breeding capuchins, get a grip!
I dont get it. What did she mean?
