In 19 it’s all about timing and nothing else, you have to actually think like a baseball player when hitting, it’s frustrating but rewarding when you get that hit Edit: I actually play on Hall of Fame lol it’s hard but it’s more enjoyable knowing you made the MLB with the CPU giving you it’s near best, especially in MLB the show 19, where the game is all about timing
Heres some tips. Dont play under all star Strike zone view hitting/pitching Broadcast view in play Zone hitting with buttons Turn off guess pitch. You get rewarded more for good timing without guess pitch.

Every pitch near the zone, no matter where he was hitting for HRS or XBHs. Back too back to back, etc. It was fuking unreal. Even if I pitched him centercut meatballs, I wouldn't expect him to hit that many out like he did. And only had 3-4 legit hitters on his squad and rest were nobodies hitting like Judge or Mookie. Just crazy.
I’m new to playing THE SHOW 19, really don’t like the guess pitch mechanics for competitive play like this. I prefer no feedback. How do y’all feel about guess pitch?
You'll hit many more HR"s on average swing.. Then power... Power Swings make a lot more sense when you have no outs, and are looking fast ball down in the zone... The shows physics have come a long way, and that situational hitting theme, really plays out on your count... more... contact swing makes sense when your guessing for something specific, don't get it, and just trying to foul off stuff that's hard to hit - when you have 2 strikes already.

Coming from someone that has both consoles Xbox reigns supreme. The home layout flows so much better on Xbox and is loaded and moves flawlessly. PS4 is twitchy and always has to re-load. Also, the Xbox controller is much more natural although the PlayStation controller is much more developed and still can compete price wise with Xbox. That being said, Xbox will always be the console of choice for true gamers!

Will Ferrell's character Chazz Michael Michaels says "They laughed at Louis Armstrong when he said he was gonna go to the moon. Now he's up there laughing at them."
