      Arise reporters can not be trusted. They are working for the opposition, all is about money.
      Laila arise reporter didn't asked those she interviewed for the authorisation documents on where they put their properties.

    All these years the government allowed the coastline to erode by almost 300 metres and now claim 250m from the coastline, meanwhile people who bought and developed properties that were more than 250m before are going to lose because of government negligence

      Bought from who? Land grabbers! Criminal Developers!
      Everyone should follow the rules if we want a better Nigeria.

    Arise TV should help those whose houses / businesses were demolished and have legal documents by taking Lagos State to court on their behalf.

      But Government have started paying them compensations already some did not want to collect compensation an SURELY they will in both ways. Because OBJ actor 1969 has made government the LEGAL OWNER of ALL the lands they can only pay you when you have CofO and in this case. The government is fear enough and offered compensation to every one of them. Whether you have paper or NOT.

    The reporting was quite lopsided. We understand the government has some faults here. But what about the developer? I keep hearing they make alterations, has anyone gone to investigate that? They talk about landmarks and others, has anyone asked them to produce documents showing they were allotted the beach? . Let's have a well balanced news

    Feel so sorry for these guys.
    But, the government has to do what it has to do.
    Please let there be more compensations.
    God bless the federal Republic of Nigeria.

    So why is the Lagos government taxing land owners land use charge
    Asking one to pay it',is an automatic acknowledgement from government

    You can actually construct drainage systems beneath roads without destroying or tampering with people buildings, what happens to nigeria state is lack of experiences

    • @save_theworld
      @save_theworld 20 днів тому +1

      In Moscow, drainage is below almost 20 30 meters under the ground no house has ever been demolished because a road is being constructed.
