Ima watchmaker for Cartier now, started by showering ina sink and walking from my tent, to work, and back, every single day for 4 months until i had enough saved for an apartment. When we want different, we get different...good on you for not goin back. Still some days where money is tight where itll cross my mind, but then i look at the life i got now...aint no way im fuckin it up for a quick buck

Good job. When I lost my job, when Covid hit, my dryer broke down. I had the time, so I learned how to fix it. That led to me, fixing some more dryers and selling them. I never had to go back to work at my other job because I was making more money fixing and selling Dryers.

I've known some people who got sucked into the system and got trapped in it through the habits they made, the people they associated with, and the mentality they developed. It's heartbreaking to see, and it makes me glad when someone stops seeing themselves as an "excon" and starts seeing themselves as a person with potential, someone who can be successful. I was locked up before also. Several times when I was young and dumb. Now I am a responsible productive member of society and work hard. We are proof people CAN change. It comes down to people places and things. Hang with good people, stay way from shady areas and don't do stupid things. Stay up brother. Life is how you make it.
It has to feel pretty damn good all the things that you accomplished. I can see by all the hard work you're doing that. You made a promise to yourself while you were in prison. And you are honoring that promise. You got this my friend.
