@@isadoraalvarez9767 theres no real evidence they cant exist outside the workshop tho, its simply that they cant be made anywhere else (like etheral island) due to the instability of the elements requiring the synthesizer and the dense ethereal energy of attuned meebs (which only exist in the workshop) the instability makes them unstable monsters but no where does it say that they can only survive within it

The final synthesizer upgrade, Ultra Synthesizer's bio mentions that we may or may not ever know what the creature on the top of the synthesizer is. This confirms that yes the quint (or creature as the game is calling) is coming soon but not now. Probably in some arbitrary update the quint will come.
