Oh man my friend used that strat and caught another friend of mine, who was on his first imposter round of the entire week. They both felt awful about it
for people asking: the ban only is for that specific lobby, so you can join other lobbies even if you get banned from one. the reason for this hacking ban is because for a good month or two there was no protection at all from hackers, and this was a huge issue in public lobbies because hackers would hijack games and ruin the game for everybody. they can instantly end the game with their win, they can cheat to see who is crewmate and who is imp. they can have an unlimited kill cool down, adjust their speed, etc. It sounds fun when youre playing as the hacker and it def is but the problem is that because its an online multiplayer, cheating is just not cool for everybody else just trying to play. the hacking detection isnt super accurate, i was banned once literally for accusing the imposter accurately w/out any sort of hacking or cheats. pretty sure it was an easy accusation too, which was upsetting. but like i said the ban only applies to that lobby so you can still play. but it always detects actual hacking properly. sometimes it makes mistakes tho

as an australian, i can confirm the democracy sausage does indeed exist- there was even a whole drama about whether the fried onions go above or below the sausage... i think we care more about our sausage sizzles than our politics tbh
