Red Dead Redemption 2 has this feature, too, I believe, so it will likely be in GTA 6 as well. They put a fair bit of emphasis on robberies in the trailer, and 70% of the buildings in the game are reportedly going to be enterable, which means a chunk of them will likely be robable as well. With the GTA RP people working alongside Rockstar, I expect the game to be more immersive than the previous games in the series. One of the mechanics I am personally hoping to see show back up is the ability to gain weight at fast food restaurants and bulk up in the gym, but I'm not going to hold my breath for that since I feel that it, it is unlikely to show back up.
