Well done, this is my regular job and it is always nice to see it getting some attention! We had an easy JBurg workload that evening and watching you guys getting the northbound departure in that great light while we were stuck in the cab was torturous!
Well thank you for commenting! And yes the sun on the way back was great! Until we were waiting for you guys at Wilcox, when the clouds rolled in! May I ask what that gondola was for a few cars back on your return trip?
The horn quills remind me of either B&P 458 or 455( can’t remember, might be both) older SD45 builds. The horn got bent by something and the crews never refitted her with a new one. Everytime she ran through town I could tell cause the horn sounded like a dying elk.
Oh come on, no slug set?! 😆🤣😜 Awesome video dude! This train is on my bucket list, if I ever get down to Warren lol. I loved the old Allegheny Railroad trespassing signs and gate!
I thought I heard a blower engine starting at the beginning and sure enough, there's at least a couple GP38's (or something similar) in that consist. Those blower engines burn and leak oil something fierce, but man do they sound cool!
I don't think you showed just how steep the climb over route 6 out of the valley is. You can hear the trains all the way across that half of Warren, especially at night

Very much a great video.
We got the TP&W here in Logansport, Indiana but wow the B&P got some cool locomotives!
Good morning

Thanks man! It’s definitely a great and fast paced chase. Well worth a drive to the area!
@@northernohiorailfanningpro8899 It looks it man, you got some great shots in some beautiful scenery!
B&P doesn't need no slugs! I've seen SW1001s leading crude oil trains though
Nice video. 3001 has been around since at least 1999.
Seeing 5 non-slug four axles pull a train is almost unheard of these days

3001 sounds like a NJT K5LA from the Atlantic City line
That loco at the start of the video could use some new decals. lol. some new paint as well.
Yeah it really could lol
Amazing footage
Awesome Video My Friend When You Gonna Publish SIRI Chase?
Eventually

What is the purpose of quilling?
To my knowledge, it doesn’t have any specific meaning on the railroad, just let’s the engineer be a little creative and artsy with their sequences.
