Brad is an alien. Jazz, classical, folk, country, rock, electronica, everything. He kills it every time.
Man, the density of heart, soul, and musicality in these two. Stunning. Thanks for sharing this here.
Thile & Mehldau? Instant purchase.
More Brad singing! :)!!
wonderful... rarely heard such a great folk piano sound, in combination with mandolin. and chris and brads vocals fit together perfectly. killing!
Thile's tone is so rich and inspiring to aspiring mandolin players. This what I want to sound like someday.
I love my Brads singing :)

Nothing about this should work but everything about it does. It’s a triumph.
Wow!!!! Amazing song-writing, amazing vocal and instrumental performance! Incredible mutual vibe!! So good! And huge kudos to whoever did the live sound and produced this so we could all enjoy it - they did an outstanding job!!
Hell yes! Oh my goodness, yes! Deep and bluesy; sparingly lean and raw; insane greatness.
Ein Geschenk, so wunderbare Musiker.
This is what you get two great musicians toghter.
Full body shiver...is what Im saying. Talent this good is incredibly rare.
2 talented musicians, both experts on their instruments.
I am so damn excited for this record. I've been wanting it to happen for years.
Finally, this album has been awaited for more than 2 years! Amazing
So very wonderful like all from and with Brad and through Chris Thile I've got a big fan of mandoline!
Hope to can hear them soon again live together!

One of the most stunning duets ever. Looking forward to the January's premiere. Love it!

One of my favorite Gillian Welch songs, and well played!
Wow😮😎
I sure hope Nonesuch releases a DVD of this concert.
I was there. One of the most transcendent, amazing shows I've ever attended. I want a DVD of it very badly.

Friggin Killer
transcends genre
Brad looks so much like Danny Huston when in profile like at 2:00
4:49 lol
they look like brothers
Mary blird
sounds like bob dylan song from the tempest album
The mandolin has its limitations as an instrument, no matter how good a player Chris is but Brad is brilliant at playing around him and putting the mandolin in the center. This wouldnt work half as wel with any lesser pianist.
Who was their opener...the devil?
Ah yes, Chris Tile. The unrecognized son of Jude Law and Damon Albarn
Non male....ma io so fare di peggio. Lore.
Their voices don't work together for me. Genius mando and piano, but I have a problem with Thile's singing, something about the tone.
