Before you try the swapping method shown here, remember, 9 out of 10 times it's actually just dirt stopping your scroll wheel from working properly, so if you are experiencing jumpy scroll wheel, try cleaning it and applying some WD40 on it. Of course if your scroll wheel stopped working entirely and not just jumpy then you have to replace it but always try cleaning first.

you can buy the whole kit on aliexpress or amazon only for 5-6 dollar's. And soldering is really easy if you try it.
