As a woman i can definitely say that Ken didn't get justice. Well, i don't understand matriarchy and patriarchy. I understand equality. I feel Ken always felt insecure under the shade of Barbie. Ken never got a chance to grow and Barbie never noticed it. Barbie always treated Ken like an accessory, she always thought Ken is childish and "will make her slow" and is immature. Here's a thing Men and women are supposed to co-exist not compete their ass off with one another. If patriarchy is overpowering, we should question it and fight it. I think the film showed that positive masculinity in the real world is not just patriarchy. Due to which "Perfect Kane" becomes Evil. Where the matriarchal society of Barbie Land is shown in a dreamy way and tells the perfect world where the man are perfect. This movie is only focust on barbie and The female directors imagination. This is one review where I could say "PJ Disappoints" I went to this shit show with my friends and it sucked.. BIG TIME please don't watch this. There wasn't one scene where I and my friends could have a good chuckle watching this. Ok this movie can really be deceiving and disappointing, if you don't have a mature approach.
Even though the plot is purely fictional, it manages to depict symbolic events that happen in the real world.
( In fact the opposite happens - with men wanting freedom power etc in comparison to women in the real world but honestly this entire patriarchy and matriarchy stuff,none of it actually works out at the end)
Tbh this movie is great, hilarious and relevant in its true sense whilst enmeshing concepts of patriarchy, feminism, consumerism, humanity, existence and its meaning and even perfectionism.
Who'd have thought a movie on little girls' fantasy doll could stirr such complex debatable themes, and the best part is the movie doesn't itself seriously. So all the Gigi Chad men out there fussing over this movie, sush your pus.

मैं अभी ही ये फिल्म देख कर आ रही हूं और मुझे फिल्म में बार्बी और केन दोनों के रोल्स अच्छे लगे। मुझे लगता बार्बी का बार्बी वर्ल्ड केन से वापस लेना केवल असल दुनिया का स्वभाव बता रहा है, उल्टे दृष्टिकोण से। यह बात फिल्म में बहुत साफ बयां की गई है। बार्बी साफ कहती है कि केन को उसके बिना भी अपनी पहचान बनानी होगी।
प्रेसिडेंट बार्बी केन्स को अच्छे पदों पर स्वीकार करने लगती है पर उच्च पदों पर नहीं, जैसे वास्तविक दुनिया में महिलाओं को अच्छे पदों पर स्वीकार किया जा रहा है, पर यह अभी भी male dominant दुनिया ही है।
आशा भी बताई गई है कि केन्स के लिए ये आगे बढ़ते हुए बार्बी के बराबरी पर आने की शुरुआत है। यह एक classic movie है।

This is one review where I could say "PJ Disappoints" I went to this shit show with my friends and it sucked.. BIG TIME please don't watch this. There wasn't one scene where I and my friends could have a good chuckle watching this. It tries but fails so bad which makes it a terrible watch especially on the big screen where you gotta pay them to watch this shit. Everything (except maybe the set pieces and Ryan Gosling) sucks.... Can't believe reviewers are sugar coating their reviews for I don't know why.
