- I can't wait to go back in an RV. Dare to dream! Much warmer and dryer in Rio Grande del Norte National Monument than in the higher elevations of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Red River. Apparently, it rains a lot during July and August at the higher elevations. It was much dryer (freezing cold too) during our May and June Red River area camping trips.

I tried to watch your videos of how you boondock in places other than the desert. But there were none.

If the SW doesn't suit you, where do you like to boondock? How do you handle heat/cold? Are you parttime or fulltime? How is your rig working out?
@@fratermus5502 I'm sorry. You "Boondock" you say? Didn't realize you spoke tagalog. that's the shit. But "boondock" means mountain, it's a noun. You can't "Boondock" since you know, it's a noun. Now as for wonderful quotes: "The southwest is a shithole full of sand, sprawling suburbs and tumbleweeds" -Abraham Lincoln. We can play that game too :)

Sound like your wife likes Airstreams Jmm. You should take her to see one of those.
She likes Airstreams, but doesn't want to lay down the cash. I want to spend under $25k for possibly a Rockwood or Flagstaff. Airstreams cost 2, 3, 4 times as much.
