Karma is a double edged sword. Whatever you did to your son and daughter in law was their karma. Everything is pre-programmed by karma including script and dialogue. Moreover, you don't have to regret about it because you (conscious, immanent and omnipresent self) is NOT the doer even though the experiencer of individual 5 senses. You become the doer or create new karma only if you falsely identify with your thoughts and body and get attached to actions (good and bad).
How can this gentleman forgive your sins. He is just a man. Only GOD ALMIGHTY can forgive sins. And that is why JESUS CHRIST came to this world to forgive our sins. HE died for us on the CROSS as a punishment for our sins, so that we can be free from our bondages. Only thing is that you have to believe in HIM. May GOD ALMIGHTY lead you to the TRUTH.
Jesus is the divine consciousness inside me and you. That's why He said He is the Way, the Light, the Truth. Many people like Doctor Murphy state that Jesus shouldn't be taken literally. Jesus is just an allegory for this divine consciousness somehow like Shiva in India. Imagine telling people about consciousness and energy 4000 years ago. They couldn't understand. They needed a sort of personification, they needed metaphors. And same Doctor Murphy say that Mother Mary is just a metaphor for the human subconscious that gives birth to consciousness life. It's an interesting view and I accept it truly. Things make more sense according to this explanation. Bible is a huge metaphor, not to be taken literally. Same with Indian Vedas.
Anything that cannot be understood, learn to accept it with the logic that there's a reason for its existence. Also anything that is in this world , in a visible or invisible form but is identified n given a name, be assured that it exists. Lord Jesus didn't run away from being cruxified because he knew that what has been Written, cannot be changed except by his Almighty Father. Karma is a double edged sword. Whatever you did to your son and daughter in law was their karma. Everything is pre-programmed by karma including script and dialogue. Moreover, you don't have to regret about it because you (conscious, immanent and omnipresent self) is NOT the doer even though the experiencer of individual 5 senses. You become the doer or create new karma only if you falsely identify with your thoughts and body and get attached to actions (good and bad).
Why ask forgiveness to him.

How can this gentleman forgive your sins. He is just a man. Only GOD ALMIGHTY can forgive sins. And that is why JESUS CHRIST came to this world to forgive our sins. Jesus is the divine consciousness inside me and you. That's why He said He is the Way, the Light, the Truth. Many people like Doctor Murphy state that Jesus shouldn't be taken literally. Jesus is just an allegory for this divine consciousness somehow like Shiva in India. Imagine telling people about consciousness and energy 4000 years ago. They couldn't understand. They needed a sort of personification, they needed metaphors. And same Doctor Murphy say that Mother Mary is just a metaphor for the human subconscious that gives birth to consciousness life. It's an interesting view and I accept it truly. Things make more sense according to this explanation. Bible is a huge metaphor, not to be taken literally. Same with Indian Vedas.
