What are you 100 years old. Sure It's the flag of Imperial Japan during WW2. But it's meaning is land of the rising sun. Stop being a bigot dude.

But I saying that, if you have past relatives there were effected due to this empire, then I apologize. What happened in the past stays in the past after all :)

Past stays.. Hey, i give u easy ex. Go german and so other europe country. And see them people NAZI FLAG. That rising sun flag exactly same for ASIAN like NAZI FLAG. Germany apologized to all European countries. However, Japan has hid war crimes and distorted history. From the story of 731 units, so is the comfort women issue. In Europe, he gets angry when he watches the Nazi flag and is arrested in Germany. But Japan is not at all, and the ignorant people like you remind the Asian people of the reality of lying in Japan. Until now, Japanese Prime Ministers have repeatedly turned their apology for profit. This is why Asian people have bad feelings for Japan at present.

I do not know if you are a Japanese 2nd gen or a really Westerner, but I hope you have studied history properly. If you do not settle the past properly and leave the past as a past, take a good look at how this now works in Japan. Right-wing gains and tried to return to the military state again. Who knows what will happen to the government that hides the meltdown of radioactive nuclear power plants to its citizens. The past is a mirror of the future. In order to be free from the past, hiding or distorting is not a virtue.
