Great ride and an awesome trip! It was a really good watch. Andy's idea of keeping the finger ready near the killswitch on the deep crossings is good one.
Great effort on the "Triple Treat"...I have to get up there and do them at some point...coming into a Victorian winter, I'm not too sure I will get up there until late in the year.
Thanks mate. It's going to be getting cold up there and some of the tracks will start closing for winter. I originally planned a 4 day trip which would of been a lot better, I rode from Blue rag to Ballarat only stopping twice for fuel. Next time.
Good mate! can't believe andi carries a headlight bulb. You did the big climb leaving bluerag ok so you would have done the last bit to I think. Steeper but shorter. I've got a vid on it if you want to see it
He even had a bottle of wine with him. Finished it off over the trip. I could have done the last bit of blue rag once my clutch started working again but at the time I was worried about getting home. Gives me an excuse to go back and finish the job. I just subscribed to your channel. I'll check it out tomorrow.
The 4x4 are ripping the track to pieces 😁 Maybe go up in September....... I would be game to do an overnighter in Bright if interested. Take a fun way to bright and then up Blue Rag and then back down into Bright or Harrietville for the night. Let me know your thoughts.
Could be interested. Keen to finish off Blue rag. Originally this trip was 4 days, planned on camping near Bright and taking a more scenic route home. There's some nice campgrounds at Dangdongadale.
Very challenging trip! Hard on me and the V-Strom. I'm in the process of changing the clutch now. The friction plates were at the bottom limit, and the springs were under size.
It was definitely steep! The scary bit were the holes that I didn't see till the last second. The video doesn't show how big they were. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Amazing 3 days, got it all from rain, blue skies, hills, rivers not sure when's the next one. Thanks for organising it!!!!
Definitely an adventure!
Thanks for joining me and making my original route much more interesting.
Having good company made it a great trip!

Cheers mate!
Good advice just in time, very next crossing I dropped it in the drink.
Nice job on the water crossings!!!
I still don’t sleep great in a tent, but love trying!😂 11:08 Straight down!!
Oh dang, nice job on the first two…The Mighty VStrom starts right up….🎉
That’s a lot of water crossings!!!
After dropping it on one crossing I was pretty nervous on the rest
@@OzADVRider understandable!!
14:56 Wow!!! What a road, what views!! Absolutely stunning
Amazing place to see!
Such a great trip, enjoyed every minute of it!
Glad you enjoyed it! I had a ball recording it.
A job well done gentlemen! Onto the next adventure 🙂
Thanks! It will be hard to top that adventure
Very true. But I’m sure you’ll find something… :-)
@@OzADVRider Different type of adventure but how about the Simpson Desert??? 🙂
No real interest in it. Asked Andi, he didn't seem interested either
Too effort really enjoyed the series . Cheers 🍻
Thanks mate! I appreciate it
I bet you were exhausted after 3 days of that kind of riding!!!!
Yes, big 3 days. 5hrs riding after signing off with only 2 quick fuel stops
@@OzADVRider oh yea, you were beat!!

@@OzADVRider "give me an excuse to go back" that's what I said as things didn't go to plan at crooked river.
They never do on adventure rides.

That looked like one of the more challenging tracks you’ve shown us. Did you have to replace the clutch?

Was the powerbank waterproof?😉
It must be. It's still working.
Mate , a lot of the time the video doesn't show up the steepness of the hills . Those hills must be steep as watching the vid me tense up . Cheers .
It was definitely steep!
