Both times Southampton beat Leeds they wasn't in the Groove and a bad patch, largely after the international break and Georgino op he has been of the pace and not himself, then came the 2nd leg at ER and they're ALL back in the groove.

VAR is going to be an issue for the final, isn't it, either way. Silly to use it, while the championship doesn't use it. Someone needs to steal the power leads to the system.
The reason the championship is so entertaining is because is doesn’t have VAR. slows down the games and robs fans of any excitement

Take nothing away from Ipswich, but Saints had direct promotion in the bag if they only had a competent keeper. Bazunu's injury is a blessing in disguise for them even tho Alex McCarthy isn't quite a top keeper either. He does well enough to beat Leeds tho- They must get a proper keeper for EPL if they win at Wembley. Kaminski maybe?

@ShadowRosewolf I think there's 4 outlier games that make the defence look worse than it is. 9 goals conceded to Leicester in two games, 4 goals to Norwich, 5 goals to Sunderland.
That puts the total at 45 goals conceded in the other 42 games. Which isn't that bad.

Danish Saints fan since 1980 and this match feels like the biggest of all our big games since I joined our fan group.
I'm quite optimistic. Our defense look settled as does our midfield 👍 Unfortunately I don't think Che Adams will start, so we will just have to trust Fraser, Arma and Brooks up front in the starting 11. I can see Che come on the pitch during the second half with freshness and strength and out-muscle Rodon and Ampadu and win the match for us🙂

This will be a tight game either way. Whoever goes up will deserve it unless it's down to foulplay or VAR. For any other season, both teams had enough points to go up outright.

It's Scary to think if Leeds had a manager and settled club at the beginning of the season, instead of just just starting at the New year. They'd have been light years away by Christmas! So long as Leeds players are fit this time, the Bigger club and better squad wins. Then southoptin are good in the air and set pieces and probably will do some dirty sht if they're being outplayed. The key word in your post is 'if'. Leeds didn't. What if Leicester didn't lose the games they did. What if Ipswich won more. What if Southampton's run had continued. What if Norwich won the first leg of the play offs. You can add that word to anything, unfortunately it doesn't make it fact. What if Daka's goal at Ellend Road counted as it should have done. Leicester would have gone on to win.
Leicester and Ipswich did what was needed when it counted, and Leeds didn't so are in the playoffs. Ifs just don't count.
Look what Leicester did to Southampton. Anything can happen and Leeds have to mark their rivals and perform their attack to perfection

Leeds played well, but really Norwich imploded tactically in that second leg. Wagner got sacked perhaps harshly, but based on that game, it was the right decision. They literally played in the hands of Leeds and their strengths. The defensive midfielders and powerful counter attackers had a field day. Its like Wagner set them up to fail.

Farke isn’t capable tactically to stop what Southampton do his team selection isn’t going to stem the ball distribution of Southampton. With a slow ineffective #9 in Piroe who is gassed after 15 minutes. If Joseph comes on you’ll see how the team selection should have been as Southampton won’t have it so easy taking the ball out of their own backfield. But by that time it might all well be over I’m afraid.
Piroe gassed after 15? Clearly didn’t watch the game the other night. Southampton early in the season caught us by surprise because they had been poor till then, but Leeds were not at there best. The game at the end of the season Leeds had kinda given up before it started. Now Leeds have a bit of momentum back and farke has had chance to learn what they got wrong. Anything can happen on the day.

Prutton - limited dirty player
It's gonna be hard for Leeds cause Southampton is strong (very strong ngl) and their last meet up came with a Loss against the Saints but I have hopes that Leeds can win if they have the mindset, the strategy, the fitness and the desire to overcome a strong adversary that is Southampton. Same goes for the Saints, Leeds will do whatever it takes to try to win so they will have to come up with something to counter that.
Leeds 2 - 0 Southampton or Leeds 1 - 2 Southampton
These are my prediction. May the best Team wins.
