if you ever wanna try a weirdly effective build the Grekhova pistol with a compensator, long barrel, and stock has been a blast for me. With the comp and stock it hardly has any recoil for the first 5-10ish shots, and with the long barrel I keep beaming people from ranges I keep not expecting.

Weapon balance is in a bad spot. Assault rifles (and the AEK) are better at all ranges than SMGs and Shotguns. So if you’re a rifle player, you’re incentivized to push your advantage by keeping your distance to a point where SMGs and shotguns can’t compete. This is obviously a poor mix with the buy-in-large small maps on this game. Small maps and distance-focused gameplay just means a bunch of camping and whacky pacing. Further complicating matters are omni-movement and High Alert. Movement becomes more important the closer a gunfight occurs. So if you keep your distance, you can avoid the movement dominated gunfights. Lastly, high alert actively punishes flanking and exercising patience in engagements. Flanking is the most optimal play-style for weapons that require the user to be close to others. Nobody can even look in the direction of other players without a very good chance high alert will reveal them. This is fine for people playing conservative but it’s devastating for aggressive flanking and stealth play. An entire play-style core to every FPS (and IRL war in history) and 2 classes of weapons are all but programmed out of viability because of high alert. I’m just a random casual gamer and I can understand this. I’m not sure how Treyarch didn’t see this coming

We should be able to counter high alert like you can counter footsteps, UAV/minimap or thermal/AI based killstreaks. Like maybe with ghost you only trigger high alert when looking directly at them for a set amount of time so the player flanking still has an advantage and can still close the distance if they avoid aiming their cross hairs directly on the enemy player until they are ready to engage. Or maybe only trigger high alert at short range or ADS only. As for Omni movement I feel like PC players (keyboard/mouse specifically) are punished more in close range engagements due to the nature of digital only input vs analog sticks. Mouse certainly has an advantage when it comes to aiming but aim assist helps with that, there's no movement assist for KBM players. A controller player can flick their stick to turn around quickly, I'd have to drag my mouse across my entire desk and won't turn around all the way lol. @@C21-hv8ch

On the subject of sensitivity, I was playing 4.54 in MWIII that’s 38cm. When I played the BO6 beta I quickly noticed how much faster gunfights were and I ended up switching to 4.95 (34cm) recently.
Not sure how effective it is in Multiplayer, as in Zombies the Pack A Punch tightens the hip fire more - but the Steady Aim Laser on the Kompact makes it incredibly accurate from the hip if you guys want to mess around with that :) Yes it is VERY good in zombies too.
Idk if u will see this or not but I love this gun it has no range but if u use it again without rapid-fire use there integrated barrel its the best barrel the difference between this barrel and the long barrel is 0.5 meters of rang its worth it plus u get 2 attachments in 1 a barrel and a suppresser

Can you or someone on here tell me how to get perk greed to work? Everytime I try to put on for example: ghost and ninja. It just changes my perk 1 slot instead of my perk greed.
I had the same issue. So when you click Perk Greed, it just opens up a menu for ALL perk slots. Look at the top of the screen, and you can select the tab for each slot and then perk greed. If that makes any sense lol it's a terrible UI. By default, it makes you select your first slot first even if you click Perk Greed.
2:40 Cod has lost its identity. You literally don't even have to use your eyes anymore. I'm tired of playing shoot the nametag. You literally did not see that guy at all, you saw what was left of his nametag. One of my biggest qualms about cod these days is they took out Assassin Pro/Coldblooded no nametag. Why not let people actually use their eyes to detect movement

I think the problem with these SMGs is that they NEED rapid fire
