Mycroft and Greg make a perfect couple. Gay or straight there are not enough loving older lovers in the media. Love is not just for teeny boppers and young people. The ability to love is something that can come anytime in your life. Early or late. I would love for them to be a married couple and not just a backdoor romance. It would be a good example for young people out there that love can last a lifetime.

I am into Sheriarty and Mystrade mostly as those scenarios make the most sense. I believe there are infinite deep waters to the character of Mycroft, the master game player. I feel that Sherlock and his best friend (who we now know as Jim) were heavily into Mycroft's games as well. Some of this encroaches of holmescest unfortunately. The characters in the original stories had much darkness to them and I feel the modern updated BBC Sherlock also has much darkness. When Jim calls Sherlock a virgin it's a dig at Mycroft. Jim even shares this information with Irene Adler. Obviously Sherlock has no memory of any of this but is intrigued and fascinated by Jim and can't understand why. I also love the character of Irene Adler and would love to see a pairing with either Molly or Eurus.
