Hello Mrs. Martin, thank you so much. I’m sure they were, sounds so pretty. Are your rocks small like in my pathway edge or large like the slope? I’m wondering if I should add glue or not. Have a blessed day.
@@daphnesoutdoorliving6146 I actually used the mulch glue are different size rocks. I used pea gravels as a base and then went in with the bigger rocks. The glue allowed the rocks to stay in place and move during rain storms.
Hello Daphne! Great choice to put the hostas on the fairway! The black rock looks nice on the slope. And I think the cat mint is a nice pop of color. I truly enjoyed this video and I love that walk way on the side of your house by the hostas. It is so beautiful.❤ thanks for sharing. See you next time✨🌷 Have a great week!🥰
Hello FaBrae, thanks so much. I’m glad I picked those rocks, I hope they stock more. Thanks, it is very easy to grow and drought tolerant once established. Have a blessed week.
I love the black rocks!! You might also want to consider putting another row of pavers/bricks on top of the current ones. With the additional height you won't have to worry about the rocks and mulch always falling on to the sidewalk.
Hello Kimberli, thanks so much. I used the wrong type of pavers and I’m just being lazy with changing them. 🤣but you are absolutely right. Have a blessed week.
Hey Daphne! I chose the one you picked. That is a great idea to do what doesn't cost money to test it out. The rocks looks nice. Everything is beautiful ad usual. TFS
Hey Daphne, I love the black rocks. Our entire front yard has gravel, because I just can't get into the mulch look. Lol. Gravel glue is great for keeping the rocks in place but make sure you use two coats. Wishing you a great week ahead. 🪴☺️💐💐💐
Hello Lateisha, thanks! Oh, I didn’t know that. Did you put it down? I’m thinking of switching my back yard over because of the pine trees but we would need to buy in bulk. 🙏🏾
Girl! If you plan to do a lot of dividing of plants, you need to get yourself a Hori Hori gardening knife. I found mine on Amazon- where else lol! The shovel works fine but I love my Hori Hori knife and find it much easier to use-learned about it on another gardening UA-cam video. Lol! Love how the rocks “dressed up” your front bed. Everything looks great!
Hello Gretchen, lol! I have definitely been wanting to get one. I know I saw it too on several other channels and I think I actually have one in my storefront too. Thanks so much. See you tmrw.
Hello Renee, it is nice to meet you. Awesome, I’m in lower NY 7A. Congratulations! This is such an exciting time. Make sure you take it slow and tackle one project at a time. What plans are you thinking of? 🙏🏾
Too many, and was getting overwhelmed with all I wanted to do. So that's for reminding me to do one project at a time. I have some diseased boxwood I need to remove. Watch a thousand videos. 1st, Im planting some hastas along my walkway. But only after this 90°'s+ heat settle down. 😊
Hello Cassandra, welcome to the community. I am so happy you joined and introduced yourself. We are just getting out of a heat wave here. I’m sure TX is very hot now. What are your plans for your garden this summer?
Hello there, yes I decided to watch how they do first and it’s been going well so far. We are about to have a heat wave here this week. I love the rocks in that bed. 😊🙏🏾stay cool
Hello Ms. Clark, Welcome, it is nice to meet you. Thanks so much for subscribing. I love hosta, coral bell, hydrangeas and catmint. They are all so easy to grow and so beautiful. Being new to gardening can be overwhelming so take it easy on yourself and plant what you love.

Hello Iris! Thank you. I hope you are doing well. 🙏🏾
Looks beautiful! I recently added rock to my garden beds and used mulch glue to keep the rocks in place! It was a game changer! ❤

@daphnesoutdoorliving6146 not sure at all. Watching for ideas. I'm dealing with clay soil as well. 😩

Hello Gaynelle, thank you. I think so but I don’t think I will need any glue, The rocks are pretty heavy. We will see. Maybe on the rubber mulch. 🤔
