Just something that I noticed while doing home run derby’s myself: You need to use righties because they hit the ball further on average. My best was 556 with Sammy Sosa
Hit one 585 in RTTS with Barry Bonds. Only way to exceed about 555 (which can be done in homerun derby) is to use a max power guy and get 18+ mph winds.
Try in Colorado. I haven’t tried 23 but in the show 22 HR in the derby travel farther in Colorado than any other stadium even with average power you can hit HR that wouldn’t go out in other stadiums
I don't know if Babe Ruth hit a ball 575 feet. That being said, if the game is programmed to allow a maximum exit velo, it's not a good measure on what is possible in real life. I firmly believe that a lot of Ruth's accomplishments are downplayed by modern baseball fans purely because there's a strong "old bad, new good" mentality that is super popular these days. We have no idea what Ruth's swing speed or exit velos were, all we know is that he hit more home runs than entire teams in his day. I think there's a chance he cleared 550 at some point.
Weird they think they can fool us with these myths like mantle hitting a 630 foot homerun in college or his supposed 730 foot homerun. Like it's just not possible and it damn sure wasn't dudes in the 20s doing it
you gained more stars than needed before week 3 released. theres still enough challenges to properly complete it, it just wont be perfectly synced up with how many stars you have
The farthest ball is babe Ruth’s it was fake the ball was actually hit 507 and the farthest hit ball was hit 582 By Joey Meyer In Triple A and his team was Denver Zephyrs.
Babe Ruth did not hit a 575 ft HR, all those "records" were measured using incorrect methods or just exaggerated for publicity/marketing. They played in the dead ball era with pitchers that throw far lower velocity than the modern era. If guys like Giancarlo Stanton aren't even getting close to those numbers with superior bat speed and pitching velocity, it's not hard to realize it's all fantasy or incorrect
Thank you all for watching! What type of challenge do you think I should do next?
I really like the vids you did with A-Rod and trout
Jrod
Do shohei othani 0 ovr to 99 ovr
Try to hit a home run with the worst batter in the game
Bro needs faster pitches if anything
you need to get lucky with 20+ mph wind blowing out to lcf (with shohei) it’s possible then, maybe even 600 if a ball is hit hard enough
Yeah and if you use a +9 power bat definitley
Just hit a walkoff 595 with 99 Shohei in online. Furthest ball I’ve hit so far this year
Does being at Rockies stadium help make it go farther

Yeah, that wasn’t happening at all 😂
@@Scann UA-camrs momentum tried irl
@@Scann 25mph wind direction to right field and the absolute perfect launch angle could be possible, but… i don’t think so
