Perhaps you're right. Though those people in power have a lot of backstabbing going on when there's a crisis. Then again one or another tyrant. ssdd... If you haven't already watch The Stand. It's a miniseries (5 or 7 hrs long, if forget) based on the book by Stephen King. About a military virus that escapes. No zombies, but some supernatural/religious stuff. Not really into that, I'm atheist but the whole thing shows in a very interesting way how thin the layer of civilization we have really is.
