Greetings Shiv, I've been flying birds off and on in Brooklyn since I was 12 years old Back in 1979. From 2015 to 2017, I flew strictly Tipplers. They were some good flyers. From 2000 to 2002, I flew Homers, Flights and Tipplers together. I started off with 19 birds, 4 of them which were Homers (2 Blue bars, 1 Black and 1Silver). The rest were, Bald heads, Dunn Caps, Damascene, Tumblers, Isabella, Yellow Flight, Black Flight, Teagers etc. My stock eventually grew to 75 birds. A Damascene is like a cross between a Homer and a Tippler. They have Homer instincts. Right now, I'm trying to find a roof to fly on so I can enjoy the greatest Hobbie in the world. Peace!

Im in the same boat here in cali where i only have enough space to have a small breeder box but i wish to have a big loft someday and fly my own birds. For now i have 1 pair of breeders to get me youngins to send to the races.

Yes but it will be expensive. Also birds will have up be quarantined and etc. What kind of birds are you looking for? I know a few people in Canada with pigeons.

@Fishme7 depends....put time in the air. No matter what. If you don't fly your birds, they just junk. Unless you stocking for good purposes. I fly rollers here in Minnesota and it's hard.

Hehe no loft yet. If anything maybe a kitbox build in the future. Loft when I have my own yard. It's been 12+ years since Iv had birds!
