Do you not put the bottom edge of the plastic membrane inside the door cavity? That way moisture inside the door falls to the inside and exits at the doors drainage holes, and keeps the door card protected from any moisture wicking in from the bottom. Great video BTW
Hi Terry, firstly thanks for the feedback! The reason we don't attach the bottom of the membrane to the inside of the door cavity is because this would result in there no longer being a perfect seal on the sides of the cavity. This is due to the transfer from outside attachment point, to inside attachment point. Have a great day and thanks for getting involved! :)
@@CalifornianClassics I made both....First barrier glued to the outside, just with the bottom extremity pointing to the inside of the door, and then another barrier to cover the whole perimeter :-) Like the videos!

Hi we use 3m double sided trim tape. It is exceptionally good
