One of my favorite choirs of all time! I'm an honorary lemonhead! Kevin had a way of hearing music, a way of teaching it, and because of that, he crafted a sound that only Higher Calling can bring forth. There is not one clip here on UA-cam, of this choir, I have not seen. I have played these videos hundreds of times, if not a thousand. I'm hurting right along with you all. My mother passed on Dec 21, it was you all, Higher Calling, helping me to get through. I'm praying for you all, especially Lady Tiunna Lemons! Hold on to the hand of G-d. 🙏🏾😔❤️🍋

I was just scrolling and saw this. Sadly, I'm unaware of Kevin Lemons and Higher Calling...at least I'm not remembering at this moment. I'm watching footage of the beating of Tyre Nichols and feel led here to calm my heart. Unfortunately, it's under the circumstances of Sir (Dr?) Lemon's passing. I've stepped away from the Black church in order to heal but I remain a believer in Mother/Father God & Gospel will always remain a staple. I thank God for the legacy left & am happy Lemons is at peace and no longer suffering. My thoughts are with his family. 💛💚💛💚

I remember singing at a program that Higher Calling had with a group I sang with and the sound could not be compared to this group!!! Absolutely amazing!!! My heart breaks for y’all. Kevin was one of the greatest!!!!!! Whew! 😭😭 you can fee and see the hurt in this family of singers!!! Praying for you all and the days to come

I used to atten night services and the midnight mysicals at The Citadel...Nathan Simmons, Maurice Culpepper , Kevin Lemons....Sleep Well until he calls us all home

He was just at my church at NYE. Higher calling did nye service and all 3 of our services the next day....i hope this didn't hurt his health situation. Praying for the family
I will so miss hearing him and seeing him at Olivet Baptist Church in Fayetteville. I viewed them online but it was always as if he was right in my house. His voice will be with us forever.
