I have these from first generation, solid blue handle. They are terrible for stranded wire, music equipment. Big fail. Solid residential type wire they’re fine. Also, the cutting blades nick up and I already had to dress mine up a few times so the burrs don’t rub together. Agree, total BS from a $35 pair of strips. For stranded, get the thinner regular ones maroon color handle handle small wire sizes much better! Cheers>
