The fact that I knew Modupe personally really made this story touch me deep. I'm so sorry for your loss and everything you went through in the course of redefining agriculture. May the Lord grant you strength at these times and restore unto you the delayed years.
Modupe Oyetoso should start a motivational speaking outfit. Sorry for your lose. But rise above it. You are sound and very courageous. Start blogging.... please fly.... I wish I could meet you and talk to you. I have THINGS to tell you!!!
Why should she start a motivational speaking outfit? Allow her time and space to process her pain and decide how she moves forward. Let's hold the space for compassion and not judgement.
Wow! I know Modupe very well. Very impressed at her passion for agriculture. A graduate of computer science. Oh! I feel for her. May the Almighty God Jehovah comfort her.
Very touching and sad. Sorry for your pain and loss. R.I.P to the departed fiancé (his name wasn't mentioned). It would be nice to honour him in a tribute. May our government rise up to its responsibility, and may the Lord have mercy on us as a nation.
I am really perplexed as to why the interviewer felt a need to be asking his questions as a narrator in some sort of theatre play. The lady had her fiancee killed and endured the trauma of kidnap. How can you, rather than try to show some empathy, be sounding so unaffected with your repulsive baritone?
His questioning style is so robotic and so appalling. It also showed no emotion or sounding like he really didn’t care what she went through, just get the info from her and move on.
He is just blogger. At least he made it public. Non of the so called professional news men had the courage to make it public. They are all protecting their Fulani masters. They always arrest yahoo boys or cultist in their 100s but not a single Fulani. Nigerians should wake up NOW.
Just watching after 3years and my heart is still broken, now there is hunger in the land. The cause is there for all to see...all the farmers are giving up making a run to save their lives.💔
Your perspective is sound and very empathetic. I would say it too. But I believe Edmund obilo is seasoned journalist. I also believe that at the time of the interview the healing process has started and the wound is healing fast. The interview also will open door for her.

This young lady trying to do her part to make Nigeria great again and all that has been messed up with this horrific experience. I pray for strength for you and pls if you have the opportunity find ur way out of that country. You will thrive better in a country that cares abt every human being.
This is a traumatic experience. The lord will specially heal her pain. May her fiance's soul rest in perfect peace. What a huge loss. Nigeria Government Forces have to comb those forests continously. This is unacceptable.
I expect all the commentators to talk to true to the Government of Oyo State instead of these incessant prayers. It will happen again, no amount of prayers can stop it

A simple “I am sorry you had to go through that and re-live this horrible experience “ would’ve sufficed from the interviewer to show that her safety and mental state is more important than narrating this to us. That said, nobody invests in an insecure state or country, Nigeria is a failed country, to solve a problem you must be able to describe the problem accurately. No country with 60%~ youth unemployment rate will fight crime successfully without actually making commensurate effort to revamp the economy but the supporters of this political system we have that keeps guaranteeing retrogression and the further decay of Nigeria don’t see a decaying country, instead they keep on waxing demagoguery praises to their spiritual leader. My advise is that if amotekun really means business they should go into the communities and train the ‘locals’ to defend themselves!!! Let us drive away the herdsmen from our midst. Why can’t the Northerners arrange for places in the North for the herdsmen to graze their cattle? What is wrong with the Yorubas? Our hospitality in welcoming the Fulanis into our midst has been taken for stupidity. We are sleeping while they take over our lands! Cattle rearing colonies my foot!!! May God visit his wrath on all politicians that are aiding these Fulanis! Wake up fellow Nigerians Buhari is not going to help anybody, he has a hidden agenda to hand over Nigeria to the Fulanis!!!!
