I also like to watch old television series while I'm Stitching, like you. Midsomer Murders is it absolute go-to 😍
Another very successful stitching period, Judy. You're an inspiration. I'm overseas sorting through stuff following my mum's passing and am really feeling not having my stitching as my mindful activity, so it's particularly good to see your progress at the moment.

Here’s an idea for you to consider: I have used leftover yarn to create rounds that I separate skillets and frying pans in my cupboard.

I have the Joy and Holy Building Blocks as FO, Pray is about 90% and Truth is probably 50% complete. I am using the called for colors as I love how majestic those particular colors look. Each pattern uses a different color combination. I have all of the patterns (19 of them now) kitted up, ready and waiting. This is positively a multi year endeavor. Not sure how I'll frame them yet but would love to hear suggestions. My Toe Big did not use matching frames and they all look lovely. I'd love to keep them together as a set but I imagine someday they will go their separate way! So glad you had a productive stitching week. It helps to keep us motivated.

Hi Judy. Love the Canadian Patriotic Sampler, which I haven't seen before, and like your changes. I haven't yet found a Canada travel poster for my collection--this may be a good candidate. The wildfire smoke has made it to Minnesota today. Glad to see you making a lot of stitching progress. --Deb

I had to laugh Judy, as soon as you started commenting on my comment I realised that I hadn't mentioned which series... it's Country Cottage Needleworks The Beach Boardwalk. I was born and raised on the coast and spent so much of my life on the beach, now I live in the foothills of the German/Austrian Alps and I am obsessed with beach/sea related patterns (of course not all of them 🙂) You really did get a lot done this week. Well done.

Your channel should be called, "I've made some changes..."! And I LOVE your changes!

I started doing cross stitch last August so I still have a lot to learn. Twenty eight count Lugana is my favorite fabric to stitch on but I also have Aida in various counts and some linen. I picked up some Kreinik, and other metallic threads at a thrift store. I have been experimenting with adding the metallic thread to a chart called Egg Hunt by Satsuma Street. It's being stitched on 30 count linen. I stitched the metallic thread over what I had already finished stitching. It adds a nice sparkle. I do have a couple of charts that call for Kreinik but I'm unsure about how to stitch with it. Also, I often see the phrase 'Blending Thread'. Is Kreinik used alone or should it be used with a regular length of floss? Is that the meaning of 'Blending Thread'? The use of petite Treasure braid has me completely mystified. How do you stitch with something braided?

Thanks for the fun videos. "Lovely, dulcet tones"...that made me laugh. I'm left-handed, even left-handed people have tried to teach me to knit, I just don't get it.
