Umm....Why did he not win first place? Very upsetting. I have less respect for this competition. The winner was TERRIBLE compared to this talent we have here.
An incredibly sensitive Kreisleriana, beautifull sound, beautifully arranged harmonies and intensely poetic. The same for Gaspard. But the sound engineers did a bad job at the end of Scarbo, where at point 52.39 and 55.52 are lost both image and sound for 3 seconds. And after 5 years they still did not manage to fill in a correction. That is for Zürich a bad representation. And just in these splendid interpretations they destroyed the accuracy of this wonderfull pianist. Please make a correction for this Scarbo !!! Dr. Eric van Griensven.
